That time of year is soon approaching and with it brings, you guessed it, another obligatory Halloween Countdown! And you know, after years of specific themes, celebrations of the past, audience participation, etc. I found myself just wanting the simple pleasure of my original countdowns. Back then, I didn't have any special precedent to set. I just drew a gaggle of villains or Halloween appropriate characters throughout the month and called it a day.
Don't get me wrong, I really like doing themed countdowns, it's really helped me carry this on for as long as I have, but there's just a simple pleasure in not having to stick to any formula. It also saves me a lot of trouble of having to figure what theme I'll do and who fits into it. So this year will just be going back to the basics. Nothing big or special, just fun for the sake of the spooky month and I hope you enjoy it.
