no.9: Gangreen Gang - Powerpuff Girls
This year has been a lot of making up for lost time. As I stated before, there have been a lot of characters that I've always planned to add into a countdown but for whatever reason never made the cut and no character exemplify that better than the Gangreen Gang!
While the Powerpuff Girls is host to an array of great villains, all of which I'd be happy to add into a countdown, the Gangreen Gang have always stood as my favorites among them. (second only to HIM, of course) However, despite this they've never made it into a countdown and not through lack of trying. I remember as far back as about 2012 thinking of including them but every year they got pushed back further and further. Hell, the Amoeba Boys got in before them and that simply will not stand!
As such, I had to give the boys in green a decent spot in this year's countdown...but also not TOO high since, let's face it, it's the Gangreen Gang! They're a roving band of delinquents that would be completely useless were it not for their leader, Ace and even he fucked off into the Gorillaz for a short stint! They stand as a great set of low tier villains that ever so often get lucky enough to stand in the big leagues, but nothing TOO big! They're pure comedy and we want to see them get stomped flat because they deserve it!
So be proud boys, you finally made it in! It only took about a decade, but I finally got off my ass and did it! As they say, there's no time like the present~
