Not every Comic needs sex-scenes to make it good. If you put your heart in the story and make an effort when drawing, then it can be a really great Comic without any Sex.

Heck- most people started with comics that weren't inherently sexual. I personally love the Green Lantern series and a few graphic novels and I don't think those are sexualized.

Okay you added a fox my second favorite type of critter! I want to scoop you up and take you off some place to kiss you all over for doing this. It's sweet and I love it! debí empezar conforme la iba haciendo igual hay cosas que no podre traducir

Looking forward to seeing the rest of the comic. Would be nice to see something as sweet as friendship be the center of the story. ^^
Already feel like I can relate to these two. Despite being a fox, I was actually a bit more like the raccoon growing up. XP

On the flip side, I've been where the fox is too...always resented kids forming cliques like that.

I love how this is going so far. Very wonderful when he looked around and grasped onto the story with the little fox.

I believe this (even in its ongoing development) is one of the most heartwarming and adorably sweetest comics I've ever had the pleasure to read. <3 Its so amazingly touching! Very personal too... I can completely relate to Art's soft-spoken, introverted nature. He goes to prove that silence can indeed be golden. Biro is such an incredible fox-boy too! So full of wonder and happiness. :3 Even when faced with rejection from that rude group of fellow peers (something I've known from various experiences in my own childhood), he doesn't falter. Such a strong-willed and friendly little guy! I adore how rich their playful imaginations are. A good friend is cool, but a great friend is beyond all expectations.

I still working on this comic and this story, so the story of Art and Biro is not over here. I really love these two characters so much, they're like my children.

Damn. Just started reading this stuff... It... really hits home.
Art is so damn cute and so much reminds me of myself as a kid, part of me wants to see naughtyness, but the other part, well it really resonates with what i've been though, although not as violent, heh.

I love it! I absolutely love it! I actually used to be a lot like Art in the sense that I wrote a lot and didn't talk much at all. Only difference is I actually talked to my friends from time to time. So, I connect with him a lot! And I absolutely LOVE your style and thinks it goes amazingly with this comic! I really love how this comic is turning out. I'm a bit like Art as well except that I do talk unlike Art (although we're still waiting on seeing if Art is a full mute or if he can talk but chooses to be quiet) but I'm usually a quiet person and I don't talk that much to strangers. For the most part, I talk when I have to or to people close to me and not much else. Also if I don't think about what I'm going to say or if I don't know what I want to say, I end up messing up my sentences and I start talking like a fool. I don't have many friends at all other than a few from High School, but we're all so busy with our lives that we don't talk much in person anymore.

But when you become an adult, other than a job or college (or if your part of a community like the furry community), it can be pretty hard to meet new people to call especially if you don't have a lot in common with someone. My problem is just that: trying to find people that are interested in the same things that interest me. Also on a side note, now that I'm working after being unemployed for a VERY long time, I'm gonna have a little extra money so I'll more than likely be supporting you on Patreon pretty soon. Keep up the good work and I would definitely buy a physical copy if or when you do release one.

I feel like I have to apologize... because I designed my raccoon character with the nearly the same exact personality...
It makes me feel like I stole Art from you in a way... even though I've only just now read this comic. ^^;
Sure Lukan and Art have some very different pasts, but they're mentalities... they're so similar in an uncanny way. Although Lukan has a more open hatred and distrust of others than Art...
Point is, oops! Even if it IS a coincidence ^^;
Although I may have made Lukan's story a bit naughty... but it's to add to the emotional drama that he'd experience...

This us a very cute series, I love it ^_^ I was expecting some yiffiness, but I'm glad there isn't any. I know this site kinda desensitizes us to naughty things to the point of expecting it from everything, but I'm positive the yiffy stuff isn't what Ink Bunny was intended for at first. You mentioned in your universe that the world population is 80% human and 20% furry. Since furries are the minority is there a lot of discrimination against them? Just asking because of the way that human treats Art.

Yes, there are discrimination against them, and some species are more discriminated than others, raccoons are one of them. But we are living in an age where the society seems to be advancing, and as the same there are rights for all kind of discriminated minorities, of course it is advancing also for all the species. We have to be greatfull to live in this era.

Personally I'm mostly a My little pony fan but I like other animal arts too. I also like to wondering how it could feel to be an animal especially this type of animal or an mlp type of pony.
I mainly wonder how hard it could be for Art and the other animals to dressing up and put their tail into their underwear,swimsuit ect. How it could feel to laying on their back as they have a tail.

I was a fan of this comic because of its premise and the art style and I thought that I was worth keeping up to date with. But I'm now regretting it due to your insistence on uploading pages every two months if not longer, with no reason or explanation.

Normally this wouldn't be a big deal, but as of today, you started this comic three and a half years ago. 42 months ago. And what's the end result? Only 37 pages, including the cover art. I'm sorry, but in that time period, most comic writers usually upload many more pages than that. Hell, in most cases most comics are completed in a far shorter period of time. Yet you only have 37 pages up and you never tell people why uploading pages takes such a long time. This year alone, you took two months to upload two pages twice. With pages 31 & 33, it took you more than two months to upload new pages, with 31 almost taking three whole months.

I'm not asking you to make multiple pages in one month. Heck, I'm fine with you uploading a single page a month. But seeing only 37 pages after such a long period of time, I'm starting to question if this comic is even worth making anymore since we have no idea when you plan on uploading another page, and it could still take you more than two months to upload a page after that. Hell, according to you, this is chapter one so at the rate you're making this, it could be two years, if not longer before we ever see chapter 2.

I'm not forcing you to do anything, nor do I wish to. but I have two ideas for you that you can at least think about. One, upload this comic at a more realistic page and attempt to not take more than two months to upload pages. Or two, and I know that this seems really rude and all, but just drop this comic altogether. There are many comics that started two years ago, some longer than that, and they have more pages uploaded than you. If you uploaded this at a regular rate, then we should have more than 50 pages by now. Yet we're stuck waiting for months at a time for pages with no news ever..

What the heck happened? When you started this comic, you uploaded pages in a very timely fashion and you seem to have lost it. I just want pages to be uploaded at a half decent rate. But if you're going to keep this pace up, I don't see you having page 40 up by the time this reaches its 4 year mark. It's something to keep in mind.

Okay firstly I don't normally comment on stuff but..

Dude do you even hear yourself. you said in 42 months paco has done 37 pages of a comic right? So thats "Almost" the equal to a page per month correct? As a fellow artist I feel as tho you should take a second breath and realize this artist is NOT ONLY giving you a comic to see but also almost 5 or so pictures at a time every week or including the comic you apparently "Like so much."

I'm not gonna give you a full angry rant but seriously dude you try putting everything into each and every picture you make plus commission work and still try releasing comic pages at the same time. In retrospect to my own workflow it takes 2-3 hours alone for sketch work, 2 more for inking and a whole 3 hours for color and corrections. Now times that by 10 and you probably come close to what an artist with a following of people commissioning, freelance artwork on personal time and not to mention daily normal life activities to do each day. Instead of kicking an artist down for not doing things in a matter that suits your needs try encouraging your friendly neighborhood artist to keep going and leave the other stuff out.

I know you probably mean well but dude notice the work outside of just this comic and how dedicated Paco is to even keep this comic going even with the long wait.

The last page was uploaded more than two months ago. He definitely doesn't upload pages monthly. As I mentioned with my original comment, with page 31, it took him almost three whole months to upload after page 30. So you're not paying close attention to this comics' pacing. Hell, you aren't even doing the math remotely correct. 37 pages in 42 months. 3½ years. So that means that his pacing is definitely not monthly and a handful of artists can produce more than a single page a month. Hell, he's done it before. As I also mentioned, they're comics that started all of two years ago, some a little more, being 2 and a half years and they had more pages than this comic uploaded because they uploaded at a far quicker rate. Pandapaco doesn't seem to grasp the concept of pacing because if he did, we should have more than 42 pages at the minimum.

I'm also very well aware that art can take a long time to produce, as my sister is an artist and with her job and college, she's barely able to get any work done, hence why she isn't open for commissions. Pandapaco doesn't ever give any updates and thinks that fans can be patient to wait more than two months for a single page without saying why. Like I also mentioned originally, he wants this to be a series as it says chapter one in the description, but consider the pace of this comic, it seems like a very bad idea since at the rate he's going with this comic, we might not see it for more than two years.

And I haven't forgotten the part where he posts regular pictures a few times a week, but they're many other artists that are capable of that, he's no exception. I know of a few others that'll also post art along with their comics, granted not weekly, but one artist in particular started a comic all of two years ago and he's posted 47 pages of his comic, ten more than Panda here has in a shorter time frame.

Making art and a comic at the same time is one thing. Doing so, while also only producing 36 pages of a comic in the span of 3½ years, 42 months, while providing no updates is just plain jarring. Unless he gives a reason why the comic is taking so long, he has no excuse to wait for months at multiple points in a year to post a single page. And to prove my point more, considering that it's as of writing this, Janury 2nd, if he doesn't upload a page by the 17th, it'll mean that 3 whole months will have passed since the last page was uploaded.

In all seriousness, if you're truly aware on how long art can take, why do you complain about this?
Paco is a freelance artist, meaning his ENTIRE income relies on comishions and other art related stuff, this comic here is just something he does as a hobby.
Do ya realize how shacky a job as a freelance artist is?
He could create a timetable or any other way to help him but as I stated, he relies on his art for an income, which could delay any personal projects he would wanna do.
Think of what you're saying and realize the situation he is in.

First off, I had no idea that Paco is a freelance artist. The few furries that I know in real life have a job, and someone like my sister while she could do art for a living, has a job because it's very time consuming as most art from her normally takes a few hours if not a day to do, save for chibis because chibis are easy for her. If I was successful enough on Youtube, I could monetize my videos or even start a patreon. But since Youtube is a dick because of the copyright ID system and because my videos would need to be popular to make anything off of it, I choose not to. Same with patreon, granted another reason I'd never use it is because I'd have nothing to offer and I'm not someone who'll beg others for money. Leaving my job would be a very dumb decision considering how much I make in with part time hours. I may not like it all that much, but it's better than being a freelancer.

Secondly, even if he does rely on doing art to make a living, does it really excuse him to post just 37 pages in the span of more than 3 ½ years? Hell, when he first began this comic, the pacing was at a great rate. But come a while later, he stops uploading at that same rate and he occasionally starts taking multiple months to upload one page. And I understand that I'm coming off as a bit rude and even a bit of a Jackass, but I'm just trying to make a valid point. Freelance artist or not, someone who posts multiple pictures a week or not, someone who buys his supplies with the money he makes with his art or not. The main point is that after this much time has passed, we should have a lot more than just 37 pages. His pacing for this comic now is ridiculously slow. And I understand that yes, sometimes it takes a while to produce art, but almost three months for a comic page? It's a bit unbelievable for me considering how much he can post in a week.

You say you understand but you clearly don't. Either that or you feel entitled enough to make bold claims to what you "Want" him to do compared to what Paco actually "Needs" to do. Of course I understand your desires to see the comic finish but, that doesn't give you any rights to saying rather or not he should "speed up or give up" cause you don't like his pacing.

Its not a comic made for you and thus you got no say in its productive cycle slow or otherwise. The comic was made by him for all his fans and viewers if you wish to encourage him to continue then don't completely undermine the fact that a human being is the one drawing this comic not a machine. Pace may not be doing it at a quick pace but that isn't the same as not doing anything at all is it?

If you can truly answer "Yes he's doing nothing" then all you are is selfish only to what you desire and doing nothing to tribute to his actual making of the comic but, choose to attack/ignore his own prior obligations to his commissioners and those who pay his lively-hood basically helping to pay his way to continue creating art for people like you and many others instead of focusing on making a free comic that he's doing just for all his fans and viewers.

I'm aware that this comic wasn't made for me and that it's a comic he made for his fans. I enjoyed the premise of the comic, so I kept interested in it for a while. But after 15 pages, his pacing of the comic started to slow down with no explanation. I thought I could stay invested in this comic, but nowadays, the pacing is far too slow. And as I mentioned before, the reason why I questioned the pursuit of this comic is because they're other comics that started all of two years to two and a half years ago and they've managed to produce more pages than this comic. As I mentioned earlier, one started a little more than two years ago and it has 47 pages, while this comic on the other hand has 37 pages after 3½ years have passed. Do you see a problem here? Yes, they're many factors like how often an artist posts art not related to a comic, but my point still stands. And yes, he's not the only person who takes time with writing a comic, but most others give a reason. Hell, even edesk posted journals about why it was taking a while to post pages. And yeah, some could say that I'm just being impatient and maybe I am, but I'm certain that I'm not the only person who's feeling very disappointed in this comic with so few pages after such a long amount of time. If all he's capable of producing is 5-6 pages of this comic in a whole year, then I'd rather find another artist to expect art/comics from. At his current rate 'Art & Biro Chapter Two' likely won't be released until 2020, if not after that.

As someone who has lost all the friends he ever knew early on as a kid not by death but moving to a school no one wanted their kid attending or being associated with anyone who attended there, I can see where Art would rather be alone than risk getting hurt again. Props to him for being able to pick himself back up and give it another chance with someone new. Hopefully this ending will not be sad, but if it is I like those kinds of narratives too.

I didn't know I needed this sort of comic in my life, i usually only read material that's more on the mature side, but this. This really caught my eye and hits really close to home. One could say this is mature too in terms of the kind of way it presents itself by not looking down at its audience and knows they understand what it's like. Thank you for this.

I was inspired by this comic to write a sad mini story which I will eventually post. It was about a Cat and a Fox who have opposite reasons for needing one another. The first was deemed a freak for all he was and the other accidentally lead to the death of his best friend before meeting the outcast. I was writing it as a safe for work challenge to see how long I could write before I eventually succumbed to my urge to make them passionately hug. Alas I have no drawing skills so it is unlikely one will ever see it in a visual format.

This is so darn heartwarming. Your artistic ability is amazing! I am amazed I hadn't stumbled upon this comic sooner but I'm so glad I did. This first chapter was a wonderful ride, I'm crying right now happy tears for Art, he deserves friendship. I can tell you've put your whole heart into this and I will absolutely be looking forward to more however long it takes. =)

This is really one of the best furry comics I've ever seen. The art style is appealing and fairly high quality, and its a nice satisfying length, but where it really shines is in the story department. Its rare to find this much world building and character development. It feels believable and the storyline flows naturally. The main characters have distinctive personalities that guide the plot rather than the plot guiding their actions. It feels like the sort of comic we all would have wished we could have read as kids but which didn't ever really exist. It seems to me most anthro themed kids cartoons focused either on action/comedy and the only time they'd get close to being this vulnerable was when it involved crushes on the opposite sex, rarely for friendship and virtually never between two male characters. Add to that the fact that this doesn't slide into sexualization, the only place where expressing these sorts of feelings becomes common, and I think you've got something special and unique and yet something all too familiar. I'm sure many of us can relate to these same-sex longings for friendship growing up.

So in summary, I enjoyed it and thought it was really good. Do you still plan on eventually working on a chapter 2, or at least on eventually creating a new furry comic of some sort?

Thanks for appreciating all those aspects on my story. Indeed it is a story I would have loved to read when I was a kid, as you said. It is the kind of stories that I enjoy a lot, with fictional characters but that feels so human.
Of course I plan to work on a Chapter 2! I'm also planning to create a new story with new characters. So many projects!! Aaaah

I can relate. I've spent most of my life juggling personal projects. Most of them never got past the planning stage. More recently though I've gotten close to actually completing something: a working game with about a dozen levels, music, and even some story background. It needs some refinement and maybe an upgrade system but it is probably one of the most complete things I've ever made, programming or otherwise.

Props on actually completing a whole comic. That takes a lot of dedication. I know how daunting it can be to work on a project for years.
