Character Description
Chimalli is one of the Plains Runners, though his role in the tribe leans less toward scouting and more toward enforcement and protection. Built like a wall of muscle and iron will, Chimalli has walked the battlefields of the Deep for over thirty years—always at the side of Wander, his general, his compass, and perhaps his only weakness.

Background/History
Note: While many see Wander as grizzled and past her prime, Chimalli sees only a legend carved in motion. The rumor that she was his first—the first to teach him, to touch him, to break him and forge him again—is whispered among the younger runners. He doesn’t confirm it. He doesn’t deny it. But the way he watches her, reverent even in silence, speaks volumes.
Note: He’s not a man of many words, but when he speaks, others listen. Stoic and stalwart, Chimalli acts as a mentor to the younger runners like Pike and Chase, reminding them that strength without honor is just brutality. He’s respected not just for his might, but for his restraint.
Note: Though he’s seen more war than peace, Chimalli still trains daily, often alone or with Careen, honing his technique with weapons both ancient and improvised. Despite his towering presence, his job within the tribe is Master-at-Arms.
