Character Description

Nemi is the tribe’s premier fisher, though her methods stray far from tradition. On the perilous open plains, stillness is an invitation for danger — so Nemi never lingers. She’s a spear-fisher of unmatched skill, racing the winding rivers barefoot with eyes sharp as hawk talons. Her movements are fluid, graceful, almost dance-like as she strikes into the water, catching fish with stunning accuracy before vanishing again into brush or rocky cover. Her stealth and precision rival that of even the tribe’s finest scouts.

Background/History

Nemi is the Aztec word for "to live"

Note: Nemi doesn’t talk much, but she’s observant — always quietly taking in the world around her. Many in the tribe enjoy her calm presence, though few get to know her on a deeper level unless she lets them in.

Note: She frequently pairs with Veer when they need to gather freshwater food quickly, and sometimes trains younger tribe members alongside Ramble, teaching them speed and finesse over brute force.

Nemi once caught three fish in one motion — a feat only Veer has witnessed.

Note: Though she’s not a frontline warrior, Nemi’s sense of danger is uncanny, and her ability to survive alone has made her one of Careen’s quietly indispensable allies.

Note: She carved her own fishing spear from a Beedrill Stinger, which she refuses to let anyone else touch.

Note: She’s one of the few tribe members who can make Atlatl genuinely laugh.

Note: Nemi leaves fish offerings at Koltun shrines during full moons.
