Background/History

Moquetza, or Moca, is a quiet but deeply affectionate child, a stark contrast to the energetic and competitive nature of his Plains Runner kin. He is naturally shy, preferring the warmth of familiar faces over the excitement of the hunt. Instead of engaging in roughhousing or boasting about speed and strength like many of his siblings, Moca shows his affection through small, unspoken gestures—leaning into someone for warmth, curling up beside a trusted friend, or offering his share of food to someone he thinks needs it more.

Note: He is deeply observant, listening more than he speaks, soaking in the stories and wisdom of his tribe like a sponge. His heart is full of wonder, and while he may not be the fastest or the strongest, his gentle spirit and quiet resilience set him apart. Though timid in unfamiliar situations, he finds comfort in rituals, tradition, and the steady presence of those he loves.
