Character Description

Chase isn’t the strongest of the Plains Runners, nor the fastest, but few can match his instincts. He has an uncanny sense for direction—able to read the lay of the land, the shift of the wind, or the tiniest disturbance in the grass. The others call it pathfinder’s intuition, a talent that has led his people safely through storms, raids, and treacherous terrain more times than they can count.

Note: Rather than carrying a spear or bow like most warriors, Chase wields a simple sling. To him, it isn’t just a weapon but a tool of misdirection. He’ll skip a stone across the plains to draw eyes away, whip pebbles into the dust to spook mounts, or crack a shot past an enemy’s ear to send them turning the wrong way. While his peers charge headlong, Chase thrives in the shadows of confusion he creates.

Note: He’s mischievous, clever, and sometimes frustrating to the more straightforward Plains Runners, but when danger comes, his knack for leading foes astray has saved countless lives. Chase doesn’t need glory—only the satisfaction of outthinking those who believe brute force is all that matters.
