God only knows when I drew this. It's cut from part of a sketch sheet I made of Vacak from 'Tiny Heroes' (1997).
Today was one of those days when nothing is possible. I actually slept all the way through last night, for the first time in nearly a week. You'd think I'd be full of vim and vigor after that, but no---the fact of having slept made waking up (and committing to it) all the harder.
It required two cups of coffee to motivate me to get dressed to go for my morning walk. Upon opening the front door, I was confronted with pouring rain. :p Ordinarily, I'd switch to my beater shoes and put on my long raincoat, but not this time---I said to heck with it and returned to my seclusion.
Some of my readers are old enough to know what rheumatism is. Others probably only know the word from Doug Walker's review of 'Once Upon a Forest'. Either way, it's a real thing and mine was up today. :P Rheumatism, simply put, is when the weather gets you down: it can cause or inspire depression, pain, and other forms of unpleasantness. For me, it saps all my motivation---I've not done a thing all day. Tomorrow will be different (it's a weekday!), but tomorrow will worry about itself today. :3
Pencil...
There isn't much remaining of the featured pencil, yet I know what it is: a 'Niagara' copying pencil from American Pencil Co.
Tiny Heroes was part of the culture where I grew up. I never thought I'll see anyone drawing the characters from it, haha. It's been a trip down memory lane with you drawing the main characters from this movie.
