Unlike the wolf mom, Tasli wants to go viral someday. Seems Tasli has another idea to make that happen, and is at his apartment streaming the video with Mubba. Let's see how it's going...
WARNING: cartoon contains nuts
[Tasli and Mubba talking to a webcam]
TASLI: "Heya, Internet! It's your boys Tasli (that's me) and Mubba!"
MUBBA (shyly): "Hi!"
TASLI: "Before us is a sandwich made from a whole jar of surplus peanut butter and jam!"
TASLI (continuing): "With only this glass of milk between me and otherwise certain death, I will attempt to eat this sandwich!"
TASLI (excited): "For additional entertainment, Mubba will sing and play for us on his guitar. Take it away, Mubba!"
MUBBA (momentarily confused): "Take it where? Oh! You mean you want me to start! Right away, Chief!"
[Tasli opens wide and takes in a great bite of the death sandwich, but the goo proves too hard to swallow]
MUBBA: "Oofies! I dropped my guitar pick!"
[as Mubba bends over to retrieve his guitar pick, his tail tips over Tasli's milk glass, spilling its life-saving contents]
[with his eyes closed, Mubba begins to sing and play on his guitar, unaware of Tasli's plight]
MUBBA (singing):
*A peanut butter sandwich made with jam, One for me and one for David Amram A peanut butter sandwich made with jam, Stick, stick, sticky, stick, stick
[Tasli flails for attention as Mubba continues to sing]
I can think of 'wiches good and bad, But the best 'wich that I've ever had Was a peanut butter sandwich made with jam, Yum, yum, y---"
[Mubba opens his eyes and gasps in horror at what would be the closing moments of Tasli]
[Mubba grabs Tasli and performs the Heimlich maneuver on him---Tasli ejects the sandwich]
[Tasli breathes a sigh of relief]
[Seeing his friend is all right, Mubba finishes the song]
MUBBA (singing):
"Yum, yum, yummy, yum, yum"
TASLI (annoyed that his plans for going viral have failed): "Mubba!"
MUBBA (cheerfully): "Yeah?"
TASLI: "Catch!"
[Frustrated, Tasli hurls what's rest of the sandwich at Mubba]
[The sandwich splatters all over Mubba's face]
MUBBA (no worse for the wear and wanting to stay on-script; to the webcam): "Smash that like button!"
The morals of today's story include: don't bite off more than you can chew; flailing over spilled milk won't always get you your way, and never sing with your eyes closed. ^_^
This comic has to be the first in which I have drawn from edge to edge, and top to bottom of a sheet of paper. Though some were consolidated, there are technically 14 panels to this cartoon (I usually do no more than six or seven). ^^
The illustrations here were too small for me to confidently color with pencils, so I colored the drawing digitally via my Seashope app.
Pencil...
The featured pencil is a WWII-era ad pencil for Peter Pan Bread.
Peter Pan Bread and Peter Pan Peanut Butter had nothing to do with one another, but this pencil seemed a good choice to feature with this cartoon.
WWII pencils are identified by their ferrules. Pencil ferrules are typically made of metal, but metals were rationed to the US army during WWII. Consequently, American pencils made during this time have ferrules made from alternate materials, such as plastic or (as in the case of our Peter Pan Bread pencil) cardstock.
Of further related interest, European pencils don't usually have ferrules, but some made during WWII can be identified by their lack of paint (the lead used to mix paint at the time went to whatever military). :3
Panel 7 is probably the closest we will ever get to seeing Tasli and Mubba together if you know what I mean ^_^;
ahem ... anyway on a more wholesome note, its really cute seeing Mubba help out a friend in trouble ... too bad Tasli is too much of a jerk to appreciate it D:

A 'hero' is a kind of sandwich, but it's also a term used for a person who achieves something requiring great courage, skill or some other similar quality.
