I honestly can't decide whether I hate this drawing ...but, guess what, it's being uploaded because I didn't want to draw today to start with and don't want to try again! XD
Granted, I like today's subject: Axl the Gator. Axl is a side character from the 'Taz-Mania' animated series I watched on Fox Kids (back in, like, 1994 or so).
It's a cute nostalgic drawing not an elobarate portrait. To me it seems your art is more about your thoughts and emotions thinking about cartoons that made some kind of an impression on you. That, and a means of expressing your interest in pencils. A pencil featured with a sketch makes sense. Featuring one with an elaborate painting doesn't. At least that is my best interpretation of what is going on when you express how you feel about your drawings. Or did I completely miss the mark and write something silly?

I'm unsure what the other Aussie Staedtlers are named. This pencil was found in a bucket I bought some time ago from the scrap. Speaking of the scrap, they only sell coloring pencils now ...a fact that vexes me greatly. :(
In happier news, I scored a rare Mohican Pencil Co pencil with a 'jewel' on top. Its name is 'Legion' (not joking). It should be here in a week or so. :3

Now THAT sounds like an interesting pencil. Is the jewel a replacement for the eraser or part of the furrel. Also that's an ominous name for a pencil...hope it doesn't live up to it's name. ;D
