Character Description

Shiver is one of the Brightmane Marauders, a wild and inventive bunch who favor chaos, speed, and surprise over brute force. She’s a is one of the last of the Pliocrocuta variant, an ancient lineage of Mightyena that specialize in tools, it's theorized it was the Pliocrocuta that built the temple of the Priestess due to their superior stone carving techniques. Shiver doesn’t know (or care) that she’s rare—what matters to her is that she gets to build.

Background/History

Note: Known best for her elaborate wooden traps, pressure-plates, spring-loaded net cannons, and one terrifying buzz-saw wheel she never got working quite right, Shiver’s true passion is flight. She dreams not of raiding glory, but of soaring through the skies—a dream she's failed at dozens of times but continues to chase with every loose hinge and leather strap she can find. Her current obsession is a personal glider-rig made of tanned hide, flexible bone, and featherlight driftwood.

Note: Her name, Shiver, comes from her tell: a sudden fluffing and shake of fur when she hits a eureka moment—whether it’s solving a design flaw, springing a trap just right, or thinking of a better angle for lift.

Note: While she creates many of the weapons and gadgets used in the raids, her heart’s not in bloodshed. She just wants to make things work, and the thrill of invention is what keeps her with the Marauders.
