Well, it's a good thing I'm mostly retired from drawing, for the internet is slowly (and finally!) trying to boot me from it. q:
Also, for those who read my descriptions, this art will have an abridged description for DA/FA. So be sure to save this one before it's either changed or removed.
I've been a furry artist since 2003, and not since the Yerf escapades of my youth have I known such trouble as I've experienced in the last nine months (four warnings in less than a year's time---for context, my last official warning came before I started using Gene/Tasli in comics).
More on this later---on with the cartoon!
Looks like Mae is playing in the mud with Alfie and Brett. Let's see what's up...
MAE: "And that is how you make mud pie!"
//Alfie tries to eat a mud pie//
MAE: "No! Silly boy, you do not eat mud pie! ...Mud pies are for throwing at your big brother! Now get to it!"
//the twins mose over to Lupe (their big brother) who is cutting the grass; Lupe notices the approach of the twins and knows what they're about to do//
LUPE (threatening): "Go on, throw it---I dare you!"
//the twins have second thoughts//
LUPE: "...That's what I thought!"
NOTE: I made a mistake I cannot unsee in this panel, but have decided it's not bad enough to not upload. I had forgotten to draw the pie after I drew the twins ...so I had to cheat it in. I'm a fuck-tard piece of shit for it; I've said it myself so you don't have to.
//unwilling to return to Mae with the pie, the twins decide to throw it at the wolf mom (Mom may be big, but she's less scary than Lupe!), who is humming to herself whilst picking vegetables//
WOLFMOM (to the twins): "And just what do you think you're going to do with th---"
//Brett takes the pie from Alfie and throws it at the wolf mom//
//SPLAT!//
//The wolf mom decides Mae is more to blame for this mischief than the toddles, and decides to let Mae know it//
MAE (pleading): "How come I'm the one in trouble!? I didn't throw it!?"
Oh my! D:
Ok, so I'm in trouble on all three of my platforms: DA, FA and IB.
In short, DA thinks I'm a CP artist, FA thinks I'm transphobic, and IB ...well, this one's more on me, but suffice it to say I'm uploading my AI only to DA now.
On DA, I made a CLEAN AI-'Timmy' drawing using pre-existing art from my gallery---the seed of which, BTW, presently exists on DA (and has for years without anyone giving a care about it). I didn't even upload the AI art publicly---I Stashed it to show a few choice watchers. Within seconds, the art gets taken down and I receive a very ominous warning,
"The team member who deleted your deviation also added the following note: One or more characters featured in this deviation are considered to be under the age of eighteen (18). Underage characters are subject to additional restrictions and may not be depicted in any posts involving sexual or erotic themes, nudity, or fetish-related themes or content"
For context, the art was of Timmy sitting on a blanket, in a meadow, as two feral foxes stop by to see what was going on. There were no visible genitals or anything tasteless (just my usual cute/funny).
I get that Timmy isn't for everyone (there's a reason I've mostly retired the character), but it's only a minute or two from now that DA will come after my nude Gene/Tasli art. That last note is hypothetical, but if 'under 18' is what they care about, well... say goodbye to Gene/Tasli.
On a related note, IB has probably noted Mae is topless here. I'm going to post this cartoon on FA and see if any jackasses there notice and report it.
On FA ...First, I have to say I've been unambiguous about this: I'm a conservative Christian---what do you think my politics are? q:
Suffice it to say, Tasli denied a character HIS neo-pronouns and some fool claimed transphobia (despite none of my characters are/were trans).
Feel free to block me. I'll unironically appreciate it (and don't let the door get your tail on the way out).
Anyway, I don't feel Tasli was behaving 'transphobically'. First, both Tasli and the 'misgendered' character were OCs created by me, for me, and for my purposes. It is I who gets to decide who/what my characters are and/or think they are. It is I who gets to decide when a character is right or wrong in whatever they say or do. Additionally, my characters don't have to get along with one another: they will agree/disagree, make friends, bully, tease, flirt with, or say/do whatever I want them to, to who ever I want them to. And, on that, I say the 'misgendered' character wasn't trans and was behaving foolishly. I do not and will not rescind this fact.
On IB... What the hell is open-source? My AI scribbles were taken down because I used a free service that (supposedly?) wasn't open-source.
Well, a watcher explained it,
"...open source means that everyone can look at the code and audit it my guess is that they want it to be open source to know that its not learning from ehh stolen art i guess"
I have said from day one that if I ever use AI, I will train it/guide it with MY art, not someone else's. I thought I was doing the right thing by feeding MY art into it?
Regardless, I had no idea what was meant by 'open source'. Judging it by how it read (to my autistic mind), I interpreted it as 'free to use' and 'based off what it finds online'. Well, my art was online, I brought the seed to the AI rather than using prompts to direct it there the hard way. I guess that was a mistake.
That rule seems somehow 'off' to me, but this isn't my house, I guess---the rules don't have to make sense or reflect my moral standard. I also know AI in general is abstruse and controversial. It's best to stay away from it (again, I'm just going to use it to finish my popples and upload them to DeviantArt).
Anyway, I own my mistakes---to prove it, I'll inform
Take it down and ban me I guess (it's my bad for not being tech-savvy, and my watchers faults for not reporting it when they should've).
Pencil...
The featured pencil is an enigma. I'm *unsure who made it, neither do I know why it's named 'Aluminum'. All i can tell you is the pencil was made in America during the ration period of WWII (based on its ferrule) and it goes with this comic because aluminum = pie pans for mud pie. :3
*my guess is Lo-Well, based on the font, but I cannot be sure without more evidence
At first glance, one may assume this pencil has a pigmented lead---that it's a coloring pencil. It's not: it's just ordinary graphite so far as I can tell.
this is a amazing and funny comic. guess mae will get an off screen spanking XD. also sorry about all the warnings you got. that being said, your art is not shit and i (and others) look forward to comics like this, and hope to see more from you :).

Am I a bad person if I thought for a moment that wolfmom was somehow going to blame Lupe?
Sorry to hear about your trifecta run of bad luck. Trying to "color within the lines" when it comes to polices for multiple, and yet, different sites is like walking the tightrope and jumping from one to another without falling. Don't give up.

I'll take this to mean 'stick to pencil and paper'. What I know about computers could be written on a postage stamp---even if I read all that, I likely wouldn't understand it and botch it somewhere/-why else. ^^

DA and FA giving you issues huh? doesnt surprise me.
also he was askin for it conspiring to throw that pie at her. maybe hes going to get a mud pie to the face in return but this time comically oversized xD

The *twins are brown. It's implied they have a different father from Mae/Lupe, though the comics have yet to verify this.
*the way to tell them apart is by their bathers and/or hair (Alfie has a red bather and two strands of hair; Brett has a blue bather and has three hair spikes).
The wolf mom has quite a history---she's had a lot of bad luck, esp. with men.

aww poor wolfie mama needs to find herself a good man! hopefully she will some day x3 ah you tell them apart by the different coloured undies then. still i mistook them.... somehow lol. my brains just to dumb sometimes lol.

i dont know if your serious or not, but if you are, if it means supporting you, i dont mind sending you some funds for extra paper, especially if it means we see the end result of the chaos mae caused, lol.

Also the RIGHT kind of mudpie can be awesome and is one of my favorite deserts! Hope you get to try one some day! :D
I remember we talked about the "aluminum" pencil so I'm glad to see it get featured. It is rather plane(plain haha) but it's still a part of history so yeah. :)
Fortunately they're only MUD pies and not whatever THESE are! O.O https://youtu.be/BzcscF3p7JU?si=
