I've actually drawn this comic complete, but I hate the art--I'm trying to get over it enough to upload, but DON'T COUNT ON IT HAPPENING! I see several mistakes in the art (you won't convince me Wuff's phone is a rectangle ...and how many chances did I need to NOT curve the leg properly) and ...I just don't want to further embarrass myself by putting new drawings on display.
It's kinda like what's expressed in this verse from the bible,

I went to the mall yesterday. That was fun... I have to go back because the clerk forgot to remove the security tag from the T-shirt I bought, but whatever (I didn't notice until I was home). q:
I've been continuing to develop and add to my popples story (The Giggle Six). It's going into some strange places. ^^
Much like MT, I will NEVER publish it, it's just something I'm making for myself.
I've noticed I tend to reskin my characters in similar ways that WB does/did with the *Looney Tunes. Like, Gene and Tasli are very, very, VERY different in their original context (MT) than they are in my stupid Quickies series. Moreover, The Giggle Six popples are NOT the same popples I've been drawing for comics (yes, it's still Parry, Pixel, etc., but the characters I draw vs the characters intended for literature are hardly synonymous---all they have in common are names and color).
The only exception to this has been (of all characters!) BtrfyFx (Butterfly Fox). WYSIWYG with BtrfyFx, and his story was actually submitted here (albeit in script format ...which I've been told is hard to read).

What else has been going on... I'm buying a new house. It's an investment because it sits on a large piece of land which I will also own. The house I'm in now was paid-for long ago, but it's in an HOA community, so I don't own the ground it sits on. I don't like that. Moreover, the HOA here is lazy and manages their resources terribly---I'm effectively paying rent to live in a house I've owned for years, and (well) I've had enough of it!

Wow that's kind of BS about having to pay to live in a place you OWN? I mean, sure if your renting the place that's one thing lol. But yeah I'd likely want to move too if I'm having to pay for a place that's payed off & I own it lol. Except of course, the typical stuff to live & home repairs and fixes lol.
But anywho, I definitely wish you good luck on your move. And of course, whatever else goes on in the future for yourself

The HOA here was reasonable until the fall of 2023. At that time, they had a special assessment, which basically meant the HOA needed more funds to keep things in order. Not a problem, right? Well, it's presently March 2025, and the special assessment of 2023 has yet to be fulfilled. And, in fact, it's gone up over a thousand dollars since it started (that's on top of what the fees were to begin with). A couple hundred more per month and I could be lease a brand new place (I wouldn't own it, but it'd be better than this 40-some-year-old townhouse). I've just had enough of it.

Most phones aren't perfect rectangles though, and since the leg looks good, I really don't care if it's curved with the little finger (toe?) being extended straight or not ;)
Seriously though - it's a cartoon, and it gets the point across. Your style is not hyperrealistic, so in my opinion it really doesn't matter and it looks good.
Ah, why do I even comment? No point, you will still depreciate your works, and I will still like them and be bothered by you not liking them. I should just shut up...

Those are my last two comics with a LOT of time between them! Something is broken and I don't know what it is. I have hunches, but nothing is sure. What I know is my art brings shame to me these days, but nothing has replaced it.

I haven't even been buying pencils lately; I think I'm over them. The only pencil i'm actively looking for is the one from Domino's. I'll consider my collection complete after that.

Ahh gotcha. And I can't believe I never asked you this before but do you collect mechanical pencils too or just traditional wood and graphite. I know you've show a few off but are they part of your collection or just oddities found when you're searching for the traditionals.
