Yeah, this drawing used to include Ribbon, but I never liked how she turned out, so I cropped the image.
Thought I'd use this upload to write a bit about the animals of Timmy's world. :3
First, what/where is Timmy's world?
Timmy is the ghost of my innocence, hence he lives in my head---specifically, in the depths of my imagination and memory (in that small place where the two meet---where false memories and the like come from).
In other words, Timmy's world isn't real--it's neither existing in some parallel dimension nor has it any tangibility to it.
The animals Timmy plays with are called 'figments'. Figments have some independence, but effectively behave in ways Timmy imagines they would. That is, figments depend (somewhat) on Timmy to give them meaning (not existence, just meaning).
The fox sisters were evil---they wanted to catch and torment Timmy for his mischief against them. However, this is due in part, to Timmy imagining the foxes to be evil (thus became they).
It's complicated, and the Timmy stories don't address it, albeit there are allusions to this sort of thing in Timmy literature.
Examples include:
Timmy always being at the center of most everything that happens in his world.
The figments cannot know anything that Timmy doesn't.
The animals are flirty, but don't know what to do with their feelings (i.e., intercourse doesn't exist, but cuddles and play certainly do!).
Moms and cubs exist, as Timmy knows what these are/should be; there are no 'father' characters.
The animals neither ask Timmy for his name, nor speak it (Timmy already knows his name/wouldn't think it necessary to be introduced).
This is contrasted with the animals often wondering WHAT Timmy is/who he is personalitywise (fair, as Timmy has never met himself/any equal).
"Timmy doesn't need eyes to see", as much of what Timmy experiences is in his head.
So now you have an idea what Timmy's world/friends are about, in general.
...But what about Ribbon and Ball specifically? Are they special?
Ribbon and Ball are special in that the 'puppy love' they have for Timmy is mutual, as contrasted with Timmy's other realtionships, which are more one-sided (such as the bunnies being much more interested in Timmy than he in they).
Ribbon is most interested in Timmy's heart; Ball is more interested in Timmy physically (the two are in some ways one, which is why they don't compete for Timmy's affections).
Why Pikachu?
Pokemon was the very last thing in my life that I had a genuine excitement/passion for (before depression set in). Hence Pokemon is something that has especial significance to me (and Pikachu represents Pokemon).
