TASLI (entreating): "Can't! I lost my bather. Would ya please bring my shorts from the locker?"

GENE (mildly annoyed): "The beach is clothing-optional, Tasli! Come out and get them yourself!"
MIMI (titteringly): "Are you shy, Tasli?" *giggle*
PINKY (thinking she's being helpful): "Gene has a teeny weenie, but he's not embarrassed!"
[Gene glares at Pinky]
TASLI (indignant): "I assure you I don't have Gene's *problems"
[Mubba appears, wearing a ridiculous bathing outfit complete with a float ring and a shower cap on his helmet]
MUBBA (cheerful): "Hi, guys! Sorry I'm late!"
[Tasli emerges from the sea]
TASLI (to no one in particular): "Funny, I suddenly feel a lot more confident"
*note the plural; Tasli is referring to both Gene's anatomy as well as the fact that (unlike Gene) Tasli isn't into nudity (Tasli views public nudity as a perversion).
Pencil...
The featured pencil is from the Andy Warhol collection. Each pencil in the series was marked with a different Warhol quote. In this case,

What makes this pencil a good choice for this comic is the fact that it's been a while since Tasli has disrobed for us---not intentionally this time (mind you); Tasli was fine to keep us waiting.
Tasli has a long memory, so to be sure, Tasli will remember his friends' lack of respect for his modesty, esp. Gene's. ^^
