So I've decided to start doing commissions. This was not an easy decision for me and I might change my mind at any moment. But I'm trying to stay positive about this, so let's hope we all have a pleasurable experience, 'k?
Here's the "100% will not flex on these" rules:
Payment is up front and in full.
We will agree on a deadline before I start. (This is to make sure I keep working on it and not let it slide.)
I will not draw the following:
If you don't agree with any of these rules, then I'm afraid we can't work together.
This is a list of things I might have some trouble with, but will try my best:
aquatic species (fish, sharks, dolphins)
anything with feathers
Single character: $10
Model sheet (full body, front and profile): $15
Additional characters: +$5 each (Max of four characters.)
Complex colors (for example, calico, cheetah/leopard, giraffe): +$5 each character
If I decide to add something extra because I think it makes the image more complete, I won't charge you for it.
Ahh... Here's the thing. Payment doesn't go to me. Rather you will make a donation to Inkbunny in the amount agreed upon and then email me a screenshot of the receipt at email@example.com with the subject, "Commission Payment," as proof of payment. In the event a refund needs to be issued, this will be proof of the amount.
When I accept your commission, I will send you a link to a Google drive folder with the sketch of what you've asked for. This is the best opportunity for you to point out any corrections that need to be made. After that, depending on how complex your request is, I may post additional progress images. If it's fairly simple, I may move straight to inks. After inks are finished, I will ask one last time for any detail changes. Then I will send you the final pic. Upon your acceptance, I will post it to my account here as well as send you any high-res version (if available).
I am not a top-tier artist. I'm not pretending to be. You will not get a masterpiece that will be confused for a Rukis painting. Take a look through my gallery to get an idea of what you can expect. Newer works will hopefully reflect an improvement in my abilities.
If, for some reason, we are not able to agree on the finished product (or I balk and decide to give up on drawing again), I will issue you a refund through Paypal in the amount shown on the screenshot you emailed me at the start. The unfinished sketch may then be recycled as a YCH auction at a later time.
Susan has a drawing in mind. Three characters; a fox, a cheetah, and a mouse. All of which have typical fur patterns for their species. Base price is $10. +$10 for two additional characters. +$5 for the cheetah's coloring. $10+$10+$5=$25. After sending a preliminary sketch, Susan suddenly remembers the mouse is a herm. I give her the option of using a different character. She refuses. I refund her payment and either trash the sketch or use it for a YCH auction.
If, after reading that hot mess, you are still interested in a commission from me, please PM me and we will work out the details.
