Hello all,
First I must tell you, I am not an artist. I have been trying to learn GIMP and have taken the liberty of using some artwork that I found interesting to play with.
All of my crude little works were done for my own enjoyment, and I intended to keep them private, but after hearing "Hey, that's cool. You should post it" I took a chance and posted one little gif.
Anything I post will give full credit to the original artist if I know who that is, and I will attempt to ask that artist's permission before I post. If the original artist objects I will remove it.
I've often strayed far from the context and character's appearance in the original art to suit my personal preference or make the work more enjoyable to me. No apologies. We all like what we like, and isn't that what makes the world fun?
Maybe I'll get to throw some more stuff out here for target practice and maybe not. Time will tell.

PS: If anyone has some recommendations for FREE tools (better than GIMP) I'd love to try them. I've done searches and tried a few, but the good ones are either timed or crippled trial versions. Since I only do this for fun, I only use FREE things.
