Character Description
Shen is a little kid who's more irritating than lovable. He's prone to tantrums and likes to be naughty. He gets tired quickly and many things confuse him. He can be a bit over-friendly with strangers and when he's happy he's an explosion of excitement. He seems to lack common sense but his knowledge of spells and animals if first rate. His fighting skills are pretty good as long as he has a spell book handy and he's pretty strong against physical attacks. He tries to be the big brother sometimes and guide his brother Hong but in reality Hong is way more mature if you can believe that.

Personality
Shen is an often stroppy little kid version of his former self. He likes to show off how clever he is and he can be a bit naughty and cheeky. He loves his brother who looks after him very much though and often wont listen to anyone else. When he's happy though you'll know about it as he tends to run around shouting. He likes to work but due to the fact he's not fixed yet anything too taxing can be a little too much. He often jumps to conclusions and misunderstands things and thinking too hard can make him tired. However his memory is astounding and he has a huge knowledge of spells and animals. He often lacks common sense and he can be a cry baby if things go wrong but his skills with a spell book are something else. He has a problem with knowing not to interact with people he's just met and sometimes he gives some of the store's stuff away as gifts to people he likes. He tends not to be scared by things except weird looking things which he might misinterpret what they really are.

Background/History
The Mao brothers Hong and Shen have been running the local snackery in Diegoltun for many years. About 6 years ago Shen was studying a complex book on magic including some potentially dangerous spells on Soul Feeds. Knowing how Hong liked to practice magic against Shen's wishes he locked the book away in his personal vault under the floorboards. A few weeks later Hong wanted to show Shen some magic he had learned. Fearing the worst he suggested that it wasn't a good idea but Hong started having a tantrum so Shen said that he could do just one spell. As the spell was being read out aloud Shen recognized it. How did Hong get into his secret vault? More importantly Shen had to stop Hong from casting the spell. If he'd studied it wrong it could end in disaster. Shen put up a barrier spell and told Hong to stop but Hong lost his concentration and performed the spell wrong. There was a flash of light and Shen was dissolved into Ether. The next thing Shen knew was slowly waking up on a table with Hong dancing around yelling "It worked!". It seems that Hong had run the business in Shen's absence and made a few changes. After discussing things with Hong it appeared that Shen wasn't quite right yet and needed a few tweaks. Shen wants to be angry with Hong but he's ust glad they are both alright.
Relatives/Family
Shen lives and works with his brother Hong who he's very close to, especially now that Shen has to be looked after by Hong. Shen also has a mother Hokoma and a father Gentao who live in Grenwuld. He calls them every day with Hong but they rarely meet up, especially since both the brothers and their parents have businesses to run which take a lot of their spare time.
World/Setting
The Valhalor world is a mixture between real-world, fantasy and sci-fi settings with the second item being a more dominant factor. There are 8 islands in Valhalor, 5 of which are divided into multiple countries. Many years ago there was a war between the Dozers of Meka Island and the Yovans of South Island, which resulted in Valhalor being divided into 2 warring alliances. Monsterville is a country in South Island that is strongly fantasy themed, though Olrit county in particular is very much modern day. Monsterville is mostly forested and has a European look. It's home to a lot of unusual wildlife and often hazardous kinds. Diegoltun City is the main setting for the Monsterville game which this character is from. The city has a wide range of businesses from shops, craft works and restaurants to offices, entertainment and tourist attractions. There are also several smaller villages around Diegoltun and the city itself is sat next to a much larger city known as Olrit.
Body
Shen has white fur with green ears, eyes, mouth, whiskers, tail tip, fingers and toes. He also has black inside his ears and black hair.
