Character Sheet for Simon Laxton
Character Description
Simon is a racist and aggressive person with a big ego. However behind that he has a heart of gold. Part of the Diegoltun Mission clique, conversations with him vary from aggressive confrontation to the other members of his trio putting Simon in his place when he goes too far. Simon is a fairly skilled sword fighter and an experienced adventurer so fighting is his forte. He's also a fountain of specific knowledge since he's been all over Valhalor. Simon's specialty is monsters since his racist attitude often had him choosing missions that involved fighting them. Play to Simon's ego and you can get a lot out of him but having to bite your tongue during a torrent of insults could be more difficult for some people rather than others. Paladins in the Monsterville area often employ adventurers on the side so Simon could be well connected with the authorities. However, Simon's attitude is very much out of place in Monsterville since there is a large population of anthropomorphic races. This could have hindered his relationship with people around town. He's also done lots of charity work so people who are at the bottom rung honor him. Potentially Simon can mingle with both high and low class but for various reasons may screw up both.

Personality
Simon can be rather racist to non-humans and his temper and ego can turn people away. However under it all he is actually a nice guy if he does let himself lead him astray sometimes. Not afraid to get down and dirty, he's a hard worker and if helping people is involved he will go above and beyond. Sai tends not to get many friends bar a couple of rather tolerant people or equally racist humans. However Sai doesn't even belong with his own kind as his moral grounding wont allow him to go as far as humans do. In the end Sai is just an offensive ticking time bomb that's ultimately got his heart in the right place and likes nothing more than having fun and playing a positive role in society. Left to his own devices he's bound to get into trouble but with the right guidance he's a true friend.

likes winning, being praised, kicking butt, getting stuff done, having friends and partying, dislikes people who argue with him, people getting hurt, non-humans and not getting his way.
Background/History
Simon got into adventuring at an early age. His father was an adventurer and Simon always thought it was a really cool job. Simon practiced his fighting skills really well but neglected his education. When Simon was old enough he set out for adventure and after wandering all around Valhalor his travels eventually lead him to Spadehand Farm where he met Seth. Seth convinced Sai to do charity work and ever since Sai has been working for Seth in various charity events and businesses. Recently their travels brought them to Diegoltun where Seth renovated the old mission house to make it into a shelter. However Diegoltun needs a lot more care than a lot of other settlements and the pair have found themselves stuck in the same place for some time now. Unfortunately Simon isn't used to being in one place to long and has become a little stir crazy. He also misses the old days of fighting villains and needs an outlet for his frustrations.
Relatives/Family
Simon grew up and went out on his own a long time ago. Since then he's grown further apart from his family bit by bit. It's not a case of being at odds with his family. Simon and his family just have separate lives now.
World/Setting
The Valhalor world is a mixture between real-world, fantasy and sci-fi settings with the second item being a more dominant factor. There are 8 islands in Valhalor, 5 of which are divided into multiple countries. Many years ago there was a war between the Dozers of Meka Island and the Yovans of South Island, which resulted in Valhalor being divided into 2 warring alliances. Monsterville is a country in South Island that is strongly fantasy themed, though Olrit county in particular is very much modern day. Monsterville is mostly forested and has a European look. It's home to a lot of unusual wildlife and often hazardous kinds. Diegoltun City is the main setting for the Monsterville game which this character is from. The city has a wide range of businesses from shops, craft works and restaurants to offices, entertainment and tourist attractions. There are also several smaller villages around Diegoltun and the city itself is sat next to a much larger city known as Olrit.
Body
He has small round ears, a short upturned button nose and anime style false eyelashes made out trimmed pieces of latex sheet. his hair has a narrow pointed pompadour at the front the stands straight, curtain hairstyle fashioned waxed locks that hang down the sides and a spiky knot at the back similar in fashion to a bun hairstyle. His skin is mostly a bad tan like orange color with a pale grey stripe running vertically along his body on his front and back. Where the stripe carries over his head his usually blue hair is red. He also has blue eyes.
Clothing
wears a red vest, red suit trousers, blue gloves, metal shoes and a metal chest plate that mostly covers the front of his chest.
Accessories
Simon wields a stiletto. He's skilled in the art of fencing.
