Character Sheet for Richard Manning
Character Description
Richard used to be a man with violent tendencies that was abusive to his family. In 2552 he accidentally killed someone though the person he killed has a different recollection of events. Fearing that he might get put in prison for murder he went on the run. Since that day he's been running from the authorities living out in the forest. On his travels he's collected a few friends who've turned him into a ruthless man with little care for anyone he doesn't know personally. Playing as him can be fun as he has little care for the outcomes of his actions but his flippant behavior and cruel attitude can make him dangerous to be around. He's intelligent and street smart as well as hard-working, highly observant and organized. However his lack of trust in people in a major hurdle for him. He'd rather be a person's enemy than risk getting burned by people he trusts as he knows where he stands in conflict. This makes friendships difficult for him and violence easy. Prone to anger and ridiculous leaps of logic he's both dangerous to others as an enemy and a friend. To some degree you have to feel sorry for him because his own mind is his prison but it's only a matter of time before his tendencies get the better of him and he becomes the murderer everyone fears him to be.

Personality
Richard is a psychotic mess. He was formerly just a guy who couldn't control his temper and was good at lying. Now he's a man that enjoys attacking on others. Formerly a crime of passion kind of guy, now he's a ruthless man without guilt. He's smart and quick witted and very observant. Which makes him a dangerous man to cross especially with his skill with a knife. He's intolerant and likes to plot other's downfall. On the plus side he's hard working and organized and though he treats the general public like they are beneath him he's very protective of his friends and family, if too protective. Prone to unrealistic leaps of logic, jealousy and revenge which he calls justice he's not the kind of person you'd want to be friends with because should you do anything that annoys him he will set about trying to put you down. However with the right persuasion he can be extremely useful. Staying friend is difficult, he knows that, but the bad thoughts in his mind have ultimate control over him.
Likes/Dislikes
likes causing pain, being respected, being in control, people who don't complain and his private time, dislikes nosy people, egotistical people, tattletales, being sneered at and time wasters.
Background/History
Richard is a married man with child and was a terrible parent and husband. He enjoyed causing suffering to his family and though his wife tolerated it his daughter didn't. This unfortunately aggravated Richard and made him take out his anger on his family even more. While this was happening Richard lied to the public about his aggressive tendencies and what's worse is that his wife Gloria backed up what he said making his daughter Dolly look like a liar and a stroppy teenager. It all came to a head in 2552 when Richard supposedly murdered another person. He was aggressive but it was an accident, he didn't mean to kill the person. The victim however told a different story of events and soon Richard was on the run. Now a year has passed he's back to rejoin his family though the law is still after him. However during his time on the run he's acquired some new friends and they've turned him into something much worse than before. Can he clear his name or is his new behavior too extreme for where he once belonged.
Relatives/Family
Gloria is Rick's wife and the only person who seems to have turned a blind eye to his crimes. Rick also has a daughter Dolly who he terrorized as a kid and made her life a living hell. Dolly also has a boyfriend called Tray who she hopes to go steady with. That would make him Rick's son in law. As for extended family Rick has made a great effort to avoid his own family. They never much liked him and when he found Gloria they were glad to be rid of him. The feelings are also mutual.
World/Setting
The Valhalor world is a mixture between real-world, fantasy and sci-fi settings with the second item being a more dominant factor. There are 8 islands in Valhalor, 5 of which are divided into multiple countries. Many years ago there was a war between the Dozers of Meka Island and the Yovans of South Island, which resulted in Valhalor being divided into 2 warring alliances. Monsterville is a country in South Island that is strongly fantasy themed, though Olrit county in particular is very much modern day. Monsterville is mostly forested and has a European look. It's home to a lot of unusual wildlife and often hazardous kinds. Diegoltun City is the main setting for the Monsterville game which this character is from. The city has a wide range of businesses from shops, craft works and restaurants to offices, entertainment and tourist attractions. There are also several smaller villages around Diegoltun and the city itself is sat next to a much larger city known as Olrit.
Body
He has grey fur and blue eyes with white fur, inside his ears and on his mussel and tail tip.
Clothing
He wears a black jumpsuit with blue pockets at the hips, blue knee patches and blue cuffs at the elbow with a stylish blue scarf around his neck. He also wears black water retardant latex shoes and gloves.
Accessories
Richard always carries a knife or two on his person. Since he's on the run and can't use shops so he lives off the forest and has no need carrying a bag.
