This one is based on probably the oldest dream I remember - I was maybe six or so.
In the dream I was stuck in an altered version of the cellar under the building I grew up in. It had familiar places (one seen in the image), but a completely different overall layout. It was oddly bright in most areas, and full of white sand going as high as the ceiling in some parts, making it hard to traverse the place; sometimes I had to dig and crawl. This sucked extra bad, because I was aware of some kind of scary entity wandering around down there. I never saw it, but I heard it shuffle about distressingly close a few times. Sometimes there would be a window in a wall (one seen in the image, not a thing in the real cellar), leading into a different corridor or room, which was helpful in getting around and avoiding the looming danger, but the place was a labyrinth, and I never found an exit. Only occasionally I would stumble upon a new area, as if progressing somewhere. It was a recurring dream that haunted me for a couple of years. I was glad when it stopped, but wouldn't mind returning to it now, because I like a lil thrill of danger in my dreams these days. :)
I can't be entirely sure about this - it's been a while - but I feel like the reproduction accuracy here is at maybe 90% (plus jammies dog substituting smol tchai).
I also found a better way to work with clothing!
