"Any water in a drought"

Conduit frantically dragged himself along the ground as he panted and gasped, choking on the air after having miscalculated how far he could go in one breath. He NEEDED water, RIGHT NOW... Looking around the neighborhood he'd found himself in, he saw a garden hose in someone's backyard... That would have to be it. Sliding over, he fumbled with the hose's faucet to turn on the water, struggling as his hands were going numb from suffocation, and as the lifegiving water began to pour from the end of the hose, he shoved it in his mouth and gasped.

It was... A bit gross. Conduit wasn't used to breathing treated water like this, but it was absolutely better than breathing the air. His body filled up, and excess water began to pour directly through his gills, letting him passively catch his breath... And, as he started trying to think of a plan to get to a better water source, you happened to come outside and see him as he froze up at the sight of you, blushing. He's certainly trespassing, for sure, but you're immediately able to tell it's either this or suffocating. Maybe you should help him? You do have a couple buckets you could fill to give him a way to breathe...

squirtlerocks07 and I did an RP based on this.

S: a few days has passed since I got to meet Gecqua, it was certainly a good time and now I was at home relaxing. I had to take the garbage out so I head out to the backyard and toss my garbage bag away in a bin, before starting to walk back inside

L: As you're heading in though, you happen to notice a bit of an odd sight. A familiar electric eel, Conduit, has apparently arrived, and has the garden hose in his mouth as water flows from his gills. He looks a bit embarrassed as he sees you, and the breathing gear he normally has on land is nowhere to be found.

S: I turn around and see Conduit

"What in the world?"

I come closer to him

"Hey, are you alright there? How did you get here?? You look like an Eel!"

L: He takes the hose out of his mouth for a moment to talk. "S-sorry, I'm not having a good day... Ended up really far from water since I overestimated how long I can hold my breath, and this was my only option."

S: "O-oh jeez, thats not good... well i wanna help...hold on ive got an idea"

I run to grab a bucket and use the hose to fill it up with water

"Ok, try breathing from the bucket of water here"

L: Conduit sticks his head into the bucket, able to breathe the water in it, then raises his head again to talk. "That'll work for now, although that water's going to be out of oxygen eventually. Kind of have to get to a river or something..."

S: "Right, unfortunately I don't really live close to a river, however...there is a pool nearby that me and my best friend Treecko go to for swimming, and I heard rumors that theres some pipes at the bottom of the pool that are connected to go to the ocean...we can probably try that...but man, I havent seen treecko in person in months, I miss him so much... I should definitely go see him after this"

L: Conduit sighs a little. "Pool water's not good for me, but it's better than air... That'll work. Hopefully the water in this bucket will last me long enough to get there. And if that Treecko friend of yours likes that pool, maybe he'll happen to be there?"

S: "I doubt it... but you never know... it shouldnt take that long, maybe 6 minutes tops. Come on, i hope youll end up being ok in that pool water"

I let Conduit carry the bucket before I walk off

"By the way, whats your name? I'm Emilio"

L: Conduit pulls himself along the ground to follow you. "I'm Conduit. I thought we'd met before for some reason, but I guess not... Hang on, a friend of mine told me about a blue lizard named Emilio, that must be you!"

S: "Heh, yep thats me! I'm that blue lizard, and I don't think we've ever met before, but ive heard about your name, an electric eel...pretty cool honestly! I don't think ive ever met an eel before"

L: "I'm one of the few eels out there that's interested in exploring out of water, even though I can't breathe air. Normally I have sort of reverse scuba gear I wear on land, but I didn't bring it today. Really should've..."

S: "Ive heard of those, and yeah you definitely should have brought it, just to be safe then sorry. Anyways we should be just about there"

sure enough a few seconds later they arrive at the pool

"And here we are, you don't need that bucket anymore"

L: "Okay, let's try to get this over with quick..." Conduit sets the bucket down and drops into the pool, surfacing after a moment. "Eugh, chlorine always feels gross on my gills..."

S: "I don't like the smell of chlorine myself so I get you, but at least you could breathe"

I sigh sadly as I was starting to really miss my treecko buddy, but I try my best to ignore it, knowing im gonna have to help conduit navigate through those complicated pipes underwater

L: But, just then, someone else happens to arrive at the pool... It's Treecko! As soon as he notices you, he happily runs over to hug you. "Emilio! It's been ages!"

Conduit smiles, figuring this is the treecko you were talking about.

S: "T-treecko?! Is that really you?! Omg!!!" I start to cry happily as I hug treecko back tightly, my tail wagging like crazy too

"I missed you so much!!!"

L: Treecko: "I missed you too! We can't let that happen again, we need to start meeting up more often!" His tails are wagging as well.

S: "I completely agree! I'm practically a wreck without seeing you so often! I'm so glad you happened to show up here. Oh, I forgot...this is Conduit, I was just telling him about you, I'm trying to help him get back to the ocean"

I keep my arm around Treecko as I turn to look at Conduit

L: Conduit waves to Treecko. "Hi. Apparently there's pipes in this pool that lead to the ocean, so we're heading through those."

Treecko: "Yep, those are a thing! They're a bit complicated, but we should be fine."

S: "Well, I guess having you with me makes this trip be a bit better. I'm still, you know scared of submerging...but I know my best buddy will help me out as usual. Gosh I really missed having you around!"

L: Treecko: "I've missed this too, it's not as much fun swimming without you... But like always, I'll do my best to help you keep calm!"

Conduit: "And I'll try as well, even though it might be a bit tough since we've pretty much just met."

S: "Yeah, typically it only really works with folks I know, but you can still try nonetheless"

I pull out some goggles and put them on

"And this is why I always carry my swim goggles, cause I never know when I'm gonna need them"

L: Treecko: "Same here." He gets out some of his own and puts them on too.

Conduit: "Good that you're prepared, I hear chlorine is particularly bad on the eyes of people that aren't aquatic."

S: "Yeah, they sting your eyes real bad if you don't have protection, so its definitely good that we have these"

L: Conduit: "Anyway, are you two ready?"

Treecko: "Physically yeah, but..." He looks over at you. "Might be a little while for him to be mentally ready."

S: "Treecko knows me too well... yeah, I went diving a few days ago and it went fine...but even then my mind isnt ready to submerge"

I get into the water, it at least felt good

L: Conduit: "Then we'll take some time to help you fully prepare."

Treecko: "Yep, whatever you need, buddy!" He gets in next to you.

S: "Thanks Treecko, just being with you is already calming me down a lot, I mean our dives together are always so much fun, more fun then anyone else really, Dan is a close second"

L: Treecko: "I bet him being here too would be an even bigger help!"

Conduit: "Hopefully I can do anywhere near as well as he could with this."

S: "I'll be tough but, we can certainly try..."

I look down at the water below nervously as usual

L: Treecko: "Try to just relax, you know you've got nothing to worry about..."

Conduit: "Especially since you've got a fish right here to help you out."

S: "Right yeah, ok...ill try my best to relax...ive got Treecko with me after all"

L: Conduit: "Do you want to try diving now? I think we should probably just head down and get it over with..."

Treecko: "I hope we can get this first try, he tends to not dive on the first go..."

S: "Treecko knows me too well, yeah I typically don't always dive under on the first go, but considering that me and treecko haven't swam together in so long, it might make me a bit more calmer. I guess I should just try and dive..."

L: Conduit: "Well, let's see if it works out then."

Treecko: "I'll be right here with you the whole time!"

S: "Alright... lets get this done"

I start to take some deep breaths to prepare, wrapping my arm back around Treecko for support

L: Treecko starts deeply breathing and puts an arm around you too, while Conduit watches.

Conduit: "I'll dive at the same time you guys do."

S: I nod as we continue our deep breathing, and after a few moments both me and treecko seemed physically ready to go

L: Treecko: "Okay, let's do this!" He takes one more deep breath before diving, and Conduit heads down as well.

S: and to everyone's surprise, I actually ended up taking a last breath and holding it before diving as well, although I immediately end up whining in fear as I plunged under

L: Treecko is pretty clearly surprised you've dived on the first try, and he smiles at you and gives you a hug.

Conduit nods in approval. "Guess you aren't quite as scared as you seemed, huh?"

S: I hug treecko back, even tho I was shivering in fear

"Nblo, im sbltill tblerrifed...I doblnt knblow hblow I manablged to dblive dblown on thble fblirst gblo"

L: Treecko: "Jublst tablke soblme tiblme tblo trbly tblo cablm doblwn..."

Conduit: "Yeah, I don't mind waiting a little while."

S: nodding I try my best to relax, hugging Treecko as it seemed to help me relax, a few bubbles leave my mouth

L: Treecko keeps hugging you, patting your back a bit.

Conduit: "I could probably give you a bit of an electrical massage, if you want. Apparently it's pretty helpful for relaxing."

S: I look over at Conduit as I kept the hug with treecko going, still pretty nervous

"Rbleally? Wblell, I gbluess yblou cblan tblry iblt thblen, mablybe ill acbltually hblelp mble. I jblust hblope iblt doeblsnt hblurt..."

my face grows just a bit red, but I was still ok for now

L: Conduit: "Don't worry, I know what I'm doing." He swims over behind you and starts massaging you, putting just a little bit of electricity into it. It doesn't hurt, and actually feels nice as the electricity helps loosen your muscles a bit.

S: my eyes go wide for a moment as I felt the massage, I sigh out some bubbles as it indeed felt really good

"Whbloa, thblis feebls....reblally rbleally gblood..." I even close my eyes for a moment to just relax into it, already feeling a lot calmer then before

L: Conduit: "It took a lot of practice to make sure I get the electricity just right, but it's worth it, huh?"

Treecko: "Mablybe Ibl oublght tblo trbly oublt onble oblf thblose soblmetblime..." He's starting to blush a little.

S: "Iblt fbleels rbleally niblce, ive nblever habld a masblsage liblke thblis beblfore, I fbleel a loblt betblter, thblanks Conblduit..."

I was still blushing a bit myself as I pinched my nose shut

L: Conduit lets go of you. "Now, you two should probably get some more air, then we'll get started on heading through those pipes, alright?"

Treecko nods. "Soblundbls goblod tblo mble."

S: "Alblright"

I head back up to the surface and gasp for air

"I do feel a lot better after the hug and massage, and im fully ready to go this time!"

L: Treecko surfaces next to you with a gasp. "Yep, time to do this!"

Conduit surfaces too. "Not a moment too soon, I'm looking forward to getting out of here..."

S: "Right, lets just get this done, while im still nice and calm"

I start to deeply breathe again, knowing this time we were doing this for real

L: Treecko starts deeply breathing too, hoping the swim through the pipes is going to go well.

S: eventually we were ready to go again

"Alright, lets do this"

I took a last breath and dove back underwater

L: Treecko and Conduit both dive too.

Conduit: "So, where do we go to get into those pipes?"

Treecko: "Thblerebl's abl wably ibln neblar thble boblttoblm."

S: "Thblankfully thblis poblol isblnt toblo dbleep..."

I start to swim down towards the bottom, staying close to treecko as i did

L: Once everyone gets deeper down, a fairly large covered drain is visible, and Treecko gestures toward it.

Conduit: "Through there? Alright, let's try to get that open."

S: "Comble obln!"

I start trying to pull the cover off of the drain, grunting out bubbles as it seemed pretty difficult to open just on my own

L: Treecko and Conduit join in on trying to get the cover off, both of them straining hard... And with a clang, the cover is removed, leaving the drain unblocked!

Conduit: "Okay, it ought to be easy from here... For me, at least. Hope there'll be air for you guys."

Treecko: "Webl'll hblave tblo ble qublick jublst ibln cablse!"

S: Hearing the possibility of there not being any air in the pipes, I yelp out bubbles in fear before hiding behind Treecko, shivering a bit at the thoughts of drowning

L: Conduit looks back at you. "Hey, relax! If you guys end up getting in trouble, just hold onto me and I can carry you along quick, I should still be able to swim faster than you like that."

Treecko nods. "Webl've goblt abl fiblsh hblelpbling ubls, webl'll ble fiblne!"

S: "I dblont knblow gbluys... drblowning jublst dbloesnt sounbld gblood rblight nblow... I dblont wblanna publsh myblself..."

my face was already turning red a bit, still unsure as I looked ahead at the pipe that seems to go on forever

L: Treecko: "Ibl dobln't reblallbly wablnt tblo eibltheblr... Bublt wble cabln't jublst leblave, whblat iblf thblerebl's soblmetblhinblg ahblead Coblndublit cabln't dblo alblone?"

Conduit: "Yeah, I might end up needing help with something, like if there's another grate we have to get through."

S: "Ublgh, thblis is ridicblulous... bublt... ill jblust hblave to hblope fblor thble besblt, im alreabldy dblown hblere so...leblts jblust gblet it oblver wblith... bublt tblreecko, I wablnt yblou to tblake thble leblad..."

L: Treecko nods, and swims in front of you, starting to blush a little himself.

Conduit: "Let's get going before you guys start getting too low on breath..." He starts heading into the pipe with Treecko.

S: I whimper out a few bubbles as my face turns more red, I quickly pinched my nose shut and followed Conduit and Treecko into the pipe, looking around worringly

L: It seems to be relatively clean inside the pipe, at least, and there's no branching sections that can be seen. Conduit and Treecko continue swimming along, the former making sure not to outpace anyone and the latter still staying close to you.

S: we keep swimming along as I get more and more scared the deeper we go, I just hope it wasnt gonna take long as my whole face turns bright red, letting out a few quiet grunts of strain too

L: Treecko's starting to strain too, but tries to give you a reassuring look as the swim continues.

Eventually... The path splits, one section of pipe going left and the other going right.

Conduit worriedly looks between the two. "Um... Neither of these look any more promising..."

S: "Oblh nblo... thblats nblot gblood..."

I was getting more worried now that there was a chance we could get lost, before I speak up again

"I hbleard thble saybling, "Rblight is alblways rblight" sblo... leblts tblake thble riblght pablth... bublt hblurry, I hblate thblis burblning fbleeling in mybl lunblgs, I rbleally nbleed ablir!"

L: Treecko: "Ibl hblope yoblu're riblght..." He and Conduit start heading along the right path.

S: I follow both of you to the right path and I just pray that we picked the correct way to go, and I'm hoping for an air pocket soon as I was getting really low now, my face turns bright blue as I cover my mouth

L: Treecko is running out of breath too, with a blue face. He covers his mouth with one hand while he tries to keep swimming.

Conduit: "Hang in there guys, I think we're close..." The group turns a corner... Finding a set of metal bars in their way, far too sturdy to just be pried open.

S: "Whblat?!?!? A dblead enbld?! Mmm!!!!"

I whine loudly as I cover my mouth with both hands, my face turning fully blue, now I was extremely worried about drowning, starting to visibly cry as I look at Treecko and Conduit worringly

L: Conduit: "Crap, okay, we need to go back NOW!" He holds both you and Treecko and starts quickly swimming back to the intersection with you two.

Treecko looks back at you, whimpering, before he tightly shuts his eyes in his struggles to keep holding his breath.

S: my own eyes tightly close as well as constant bubbles escape me, trying my hardest to keep whats left of my air in as my face turns purple now, I just hoped me and treecko wasnt about to see each other drown, cause that would be very bad

"T-t-tblhis ibls...exblactly...whblat i wblas afraibld oblf!!!"

L: Treecko: "Dbl-dobln't leblt ubls drblown!"

Conduit: "I'm not gonna! Hang in there!" Returning to the intersection, he takes the unexplored path, hoping this one will go better.

S: "Pblease...I rbleally dblont wblanna drblown!!"

as things didnt seem promising, I was trying my best to not lose hope, I was really close to inhaling water, and when there was yet another dead end, this time around there was a large air pocket space above us that seemed bigger then when your looking at it underwater

L: Conduit: "Oh, there's air! Just a couple more seconds!" He rushes straight for it, not bothering to get a good breath as he finally brings everyone above the surface!

Treecko gasps hard, coughing a few times and panting. "F-finally!"

S: I gasp hard as well, panting while I catch my breath

"Hah...hah...hah... oh finally! That was way too close for comfort! I knew we shouldn't have taken this pipe! I didnt wanna push myself..."

L: Conduit: "I should've checked things out ahead of you first, sorry... At least we're all okay..."

Treecko: "W-where do we go now though? I think underwater is still a dead end..."

S: "Yeah... I don't know"

I climb up out of the water and see what looks like a hallway that continues in the general direction towards the ocean

"Oh, I think we have to keep going up here... wow, how the tables have turned, now Conduit is gonna have to start holding his breath..."

L: Conduit looks down the hall, and sighs. "I guess that's only fair after what you guys just went through... Give me a little bit to get ready." He dives back underwater.

Treecko climbs out with you, still catching his breath. "At least this is gonna be a lot easier for us..."

S: "Yeah... my lungs are exhausted, I hope this hallway just goes straight to the ocean, I don't think i can handle going back under right now..."

I was still catching my breath too as we wair for conduit to come back up so we can get going, putting my goggles over my forehead and replacing them with my glasses so I could see

L: Treecko takes off his goggles as well while he waits.

After a minute or so, Conduit surfaces again, this time climbing out of the water. "Okay, let's get going quick. Hopefully there'll be more water on the way."

Treecko: "Hope you don't end up getting too tired from pulling yourself along... I'm up for helping you if that happens though."

S: "Same here, I mean you did just help us out so its only fair, anyways come on lets get going"

I start heading down the hallway, thankfully feeling a lot more calm this time around since there's air around us

L: Conduit is doing a good job of keeping up despite not having legs, sliding along the bottom of the pipe easily enough. He's got his cheeks puffed up now that he's not talking, which likely looks a bit odd for a fish.

Treecko has taken the lead again by a bit, looking ahead for any sign of water.

S: I turn back to look at Conduit, and I couldn't help but giggle a little as I see Conduit puff his cheeks up, it was definitely odd but I don't say anything as we keep going, this hallway seemed pretty long and there doesnt appear to be any signs of water yet, probably not for a while

L: As determined as Conduit looks, there's definitely a bit of nervousness gradually becoming visible on his face at the lack of any more water. Still, he's not slowing down, knowing better than to delay.

S: We keep going for what seemed like forever, this hallway was definitely a lengthy one. I eventually turn to look at conduit before speaking

"Now you know how we felt when we were low on breath..."

L: His face is starting to go red at this point, and he nods. "Not having lungs really sucks sometimes..."

Treecko: "Hopefully this isn't going to be much longer, drying out must feel pretty bad too..."

S: "Yeah I'm sure it does, hopefully this wont be too much longer"

after almost 10 minutes of walking, there was still no sight of water, but they were getting pretty close to the end of the hallway

L: Conduit isn't doing so good by now, his face having gone blue and a tiny bit of water beginning to leak from his gills. "Th-there has to be water soon..."

Treecko: "Jeez, this is gonna be really close again!"

S: "Oh goodness, I certainly hope we're getting close to the end soon..."

just as there wasnt gonna be any hope, the long air filled hallway finally ends, and there's a pool of water ahead of them, which definitely looks to be the way forward as they are really close to the ocean by now

L: Conduit: "MMM!" With his face going purple, he rushes forward, trying to reach the water before he'll run out of breath.

Treecko: "Hurry, we're almost there!"

S: "Just a little bit further!"

and soon enough we get to the edge of the water

"Ok! Hurry and jump in before its too late!"

L: Conduit pulls himself forward and drops straight into the water, gasping loudly enough once he does that it's audible from above the water.

Treecko: "Phew, we did it..."

S: "That was close, glad we found some water... but...oh no i really hope we don't have to dive again to move forward, i really really don't wanna go diving again..."

L: Treecko: "Maybe it won't be that far of a swim? We've gone really far, I think we might be at least decently close to the ocean by now."

Conduit is still catching his breath underwater, but raises a hand above the surface to give a thumbs up, showing he's okay.

S: "Conduit's all good at least, but still I really don't wanna go back underwater after that incident, I just don't have the strength..."

I look down at conduit underwater, frowning as I was worried this was gonna be another long swim and treecko might be wrong. I hoped conduit was at least look ahead and see if the way forward is underwater

L: Conduit surfaces again after a little while. "Glad we made that, I was pretty much at my limit... So, the next part we need to do: More underwater swimming. But, I could see light coming from around a turn up ahead, so I think we're almost at the ocean!"

Treecko: "Nice! But, I doubt that's gonna be good enough for Emilio..."

S: "Ughhh!! Ive already pushed myself once, I dont wanna do it again! No way! I just can't...."

I sit down at the edge of the pool of water, sighing heavily, it was gonna take a lot to somehow convince me to dive again after a near drowning experience

L: Treecko sighs. "Kind of figured..." He sits down next to you, putting an arm around you. "Hey, come on... We'll have to swim out of here at some point, right? You know it'd suck to just stay in this pipe. And what if it floods at some point?"

Conduit: "Exactly, this isn't somewhere we should stay long. Even you guys might end up getting sick, we don't know what kind of stuff is in here..."

S: I gasp in shock at that

"W-well, don't say that! I don't wanna get sick... and this pipe is most definitely not gonna flood! Come on now! Ugh..."

I put my own arm around treecko and hug him a bit, as i try to think of how to calm down again, maybe another electric massage from conduit could help since that pretty much calmed me down right away last time

L: Conduit: "Hm... That electric massage I gave you earlier helped a lot, maybe we could try that again?"

Treecko: "That's probably got some potential, yeah..."

S: "Well umm...it did help me out... oh what have I got to lose, i guess ill give it a shot then..."

Putting away my glasses again i put back on my goggles before slowly getting into the water, staying above the surface

L: Conduit: "Alright, here you go then." Like before, he starts massaging you, putting a tiny bit of electricity into it.

S: while it didnt seem to work at first, slowly but surely I manage to calm down, smiling a little at the massage

"Ooh, alright... that feels really nice... even better the 2nd time around..."

L: Conduit: "Starting to get a feel for how to best do this for you..."

Treecko: "Looks like this is probably gonna be enough again, huh?"

S: "I think so... Conduit always does a great job with these massages... as much as I really don't wanna dive again... I guess I have to go now..."

I gave Conduit a hug while taking some deep breaths to get ready, hoping this time I wont have to push myself

L: Conduit stops the electricity and hugs you back. "I really hope this'll be the last stretch..."

Treecko gets into the water next to you, putting his goggles back on. "Same here, it'd really suck to have to do even more diving after this..." He starts preparing as well.

S: "It sure would..."

eventually both me and treecko seemed ready to go, physically at least. I let go of conduit before going over to treecko

"Hey buddy um, im still worried I'm gonna be scared when we dive again, so do you think we could try and hug each other the whole time so I don't freak out?"

L: Treecko: "Of course! It's gonna slow us down a little, but I can't just not try to make you feel better." He gives you a hug.

S: "Aww, thanks buddy..." I smile and hug him back tightly, wrapping my tail around his body too
"Alright um, i think I'm ready then, lets get this over with"

L: Conduit: "Okay, let's hopefully finish this up." He dives down, waiting underwater.

Treecko: "Here we go..." He holds his breath and starts going under with you.

S: trying not to freak out, I held my breath too and went underwater with Treecko, still hugging him the whole time as i whimper a bit in fear

L: Treecko smiles at you, patting your back and still holding you as well, before starting to swim along toward the way ahead, with Conduit taking the lead this time.

S: I smile back as my cheeks puff up, bubbles escape from my lips as we head forward, but it seems this time it won't actually take long as not even 5 minutes later, they go around a corner and see the exit of the pipe that seems to lead directly to the ocean!

L: Conduit: "Ah, finally! Mmm, I may prefer freshwater, but even this is way better than pool water... Let's get you two to the surface." He starts swimming up.

Treecko wags his tails a little, glad this'll finally be over soon, and starts heading up too.

S: my own tail wags as well, so happy this is gonna be over, and soon enough me and treecko surface with no problems, I lightly gasp for breath, not under as much strain as before

"Oh thank goodness, that really was a short trip... I'm quite relieved... thats definitely enough water for me for one day...imma need like a few weeks break from it"

L: Treecko gasps a little too. "At least that was a pretty interesting place to swim... But yeah, I think I'm good for now after almost drowning."

Conduit has surfaced as well. "Thanks again for the help, I don't think I would've been able to make that on my own. Pretty sure I'm starting to get sick though, my throat's sore now..."

S: "...you know, now that you mention it, my own throat is getting a little sore too... uh oh...I think i may have held us up in that pipe for too long...great, just great!"

I even let out a sneeze, I covered it of course

"Well, I guess we better get home..."

L: Treecko nods, coughing a little. "Ugh, I've got it too I think... We should get going in case it gets bad..."

Conduit: "Yeah, I'll see you guys again sometime. Hopefully we'll all get better soon."

S: "I guess seeing as we're both sick treecko, we can just go to your place and maybe get some medicine and watch some tv in bed. We'll still be, you know hanging out."

I cough a bit myself and sneeze again before heading back to shore with treecko, already starting to feel my body grow weak from the sickness

L: Treecko puts his goggles away, soon sneezing. "Y-yeah, that sounds good... Jeez, I feel awful already..."

Conduit: "Me too... I'd ask if I could join you guys, but I still don't have my breathing gear, so it'd just be a pain."

S: "Yeah, but thats ok... ill make sure to check in with you from time to time."

I look at Treecko and frown, giving him another hug

"My poor treecko buddy, I hate to see you sick... lets head on back to your place ok? We'll take care of each other then"

L: Treecko hugs you back. "I'm glad I happened to stock up on medicine recently... Let's head there, I want to just relax for a while..."

S: "Me too, come on buddy"

wrapping an arm around Treecko we both head to his house and take some medicine, taking time to relax too and recover from this
