So that's how Sally lost her cheek fur! :D

I don't read the comics, so I'm not 100% sure what's up with that redesign and all, or even if Sally is as much of a b*tch as people say she is. So, don't blame me if you don't get a chuckle out of this.

Sally isn't really a bitch- Sonic has done the same level of crap to people he's cared about in the comic. It's just that a lot of people either don't like or understand character development.

Sally's only been bitchy as she was leading the freedom fighters, residing as head of Knothole council, dealing with her Father nearly dying from crystal poisoning AND her only lover being left for dead having vanished for a year. Honestly, that's a LOT to deal with, all that pressure is gonna cause a blow out at some point! Thankfully now though everything has (almost) calmed down so she's back to (relative) normality.

btw, since you said you didn't know~

a while ago, Sally was turned into a robot by robotnik http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120411234614/a... . THEN robotnik decided that sally wasn't deadly enough, so robotnik took the robotic sally apart, and redesigned her (weaponized) to make her more deadly http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/7/72900/2344851-met... . when he did this, he changed her hair-structure, he changed her complete body, and he changed a very minor part of her cheeks.

now, Sally has been "DE-robotisized" (turned back to normal) and the reason they changed her hair, clothes, and cheeks is because of the weaponization she had as a robot.

Not bitchy per see, but a Mary-Sue.

Archie story act like if Sally is the center of the World, and everything bend around her will and needs. The comics should be called Sally and Friends, because only 10% of the plotline is about Sonic the Hedgehog himself D=.

The writers give her SO MANY qualities and none flaws. I will resume like the own writer said about her:

"Sally is a princess, is cute, is smart, is strong, is a leader, is sexy and above all she is also very modest, never bragging about this atributes!"

Bleh, see why people hate her? XD

She is a princess because her father is still alive. As long as he is alive, she cannot be a queen. The one referencing a possible future in 25 years only has her as a queen because, at that point, her father has died of old age. Because of the fact that the nation she happens to be princess of no longer exists, technically she isn't even a princess. A more accurate term would be "rogue vagrant", which would describe someone who is not a citizen of any nation (Robotnik is the only ruler left) and is homeless in a nation that criminalizes homeless people. In other words, not only is she no longer a princess, she has a lower rank than the slaves.
Her intelligence was a result of the story deciding to use "show, don't tell". The other characters tend to look toward Nichole for mental tasks. Sally does this as well, which prevents both the show and the comic from flat out saying it, and shows that she is aware of the fact that she doesn't know everything, something genius sues can't wrap their apparently-gifted heads around.
Her strength is another instance of "show, don't tell". It's not because she doesn't let anything get to her (which isn't even true). It's because she forced herself to grow a backbone after years of bottling up everything, making sure nobody knew just how scared she really was, because she's accidentally backed herself into a corner where being open about it would hurt them more than it would heal her. This is why she hit Sonic when he told her to stop fighting. She spent the whole time taking every punch so he wouldn't have to, and he just called her weak by telling her she'd get hurt, like it was something that happened to everyone but her so far. Maybe she overreacted, but being forced to stay quiet and fake a smile over the course of several years is not something that makes people think rationally.
They all act as leaders. The only thing different about her is she gets the throne when Robotnik and King Acorn both die. I doubt she'll do the second part that easily.
She doesn't brag because that would just make her Fem!Sonic. They tried that later with a different character. It didn't work out.

Sally is a squirrel, just half ground squirrel and half tree squirrel. Her father was tree squirrel and her mother ground squirrel.
but yeah that is why she looks like a chipmunk/

I laughed at this too, and I am a huge fan of the comics. As for the redesign, I see some others have explained it. All I can say is it will just take some getting use to. And it also means Sally's 'naughty bits' are now canon. I choose to look at that as a win.

As a Sally fan, it's hard for me to say this, but, yes, she has her bitchy moments. It just goes to prove that nobody is perfect. That being said....Sally All The Way!!!

Sally threw an Ultimatum at him a few times before. The slap was when he returned when they thought he was dead for a year when he was on the other side of the galaxy.

And when they were teleported to the nanobot Neo Mobitropolis she asked Bunnie to give her her old haircut back, because Bunnie wanted to be Sally's hair stylist.

Sally's fur color changed twice by #21. Retcon explanation in KNUCKLES (issue unknown - they were stolen last night ! Or in a HOME INVASION by a neighbor who was watching my activity to get in when I was out shopping !)
