Finally something new... or, old, actually. Here's a view of the Kanus family from my online comic strip Backing Out, but set a little more than seven years ago. Chris sure was a lot more perky and cheerful back then.

Sorry, no plans to resume the strip at this time.

... weirdly enough, is one of the things I find interesting of parenthood. Having someone other than me point stuff that seems so obviously off, but no one else notices! XD

Too much time investment. Towards the end, it was taking me 6-8 hours to draw the strips, and I just couldn't justify doing all that work and giving it away for free. Even with web ads and a store, comic strips just don't turn a profit.

I started The Wacintosh Files under the assumption my inkblot style would be easier and faster to draw. It wasn't. Now I've got two comics I should resume someday... perhaps once I've retired 20 years from now. ;)
