Nelson and Victor wrote the script, but (Nelson, at least) had the bad taste of wanting me to illustrate it. ^^
I will say I changed the original script a little bit (for space/illustrative purposes). The original script will appear at the very end of this description.
Anyway, it seems Nelson has a box of underwear to show Gene. Let's see what happens...
NELSON (holding a box of undies): "Ok, Gene, tell me which of these do you like"
GENE: "Ok"

POPPLE (singing):

[Eh, sorry about that. We now return to our scheduled comic (I told y'all the popples were coming, but did you believe me? Noooooooooo!)] :P
NELSON (modeling a blue pair): "These?"
GENE: "Nah"
NELSON (modeling a pink pair with yellow seams): "These?"
GENE: "Uh-uh"
[Nelson tries on a green pair]
GENE: "Nope!"
[Nelson tries on a red pair with white seams]
GENE: "I don't think so!"
NELSON (annoyed): "Ok, I give up! Here, you go through the box and decide"
GENE: "I liked the blue pair---the first ones!"

NELSON (angry; spots jumping): "Oh, Gene! How naughty you are!"
Gene, of course, thinks this is all very funny. :3
And, yes, I censored Nelson's bottom because I want to keep my art as SFW as possible. That said, Nelson88 has the uncensored version, which he may upload to his gallery or make available somewhere if he chooses. I'd link here, but descriptions count as part of the upload, so... :P
Additionally, something else's been arising lately so I'm gonna address it now...
WATCHER (RE: 'Orange Moon'): "Gene's shirt looks more red than orange to me"
Context being Gene's traditionally-colored orange shirt turned dark red under high resolution.
WATCHER2: "...they [Chippy's digital coloring attempts] look unnatural and bad to me"
Context being an indirect reply to the first watcher's comment about Gene's 'red' shirt.
Now, I'll preface by saying my art will look bad regardless what I do---I could hire a $60/hr. professional colorist to handle these and my art would still look so bad a dog wouldn't piss on it (bad line art is bad line art). That said, I have but three options where it comes to coloring my quickies. These are they:
1. color traditionally (red is the new orange ...or is orange the new red?) 2. color digitally (makes my talking animals seem unnatural) 3. don't bother with color at all, as I did in the VERY olden days (and still please no one)
There are pros and cons attached to all three options, so I'll just say if you don't like me or my art, you don't have to look at it. :3
For YEARS I have been told to buy a tablet and do everything digitally. I've also been told I'm old and need to get with the times---invest in some 'new-fangled' software to help with my drawing, etc. I denied both (and will continue to), but there are times when using my Seashore app to color is more convenient and will produce better results than my little box of Crayolas. I still do traditional coloring, but it's my choice when/when not to.
Where this comic is concerned, I drew it on yellow paper (yellow is easier for me to look at), but most of the subject material (Nelson/Gene) would be colored white.
Fact is I do not ink my art, and white pigment smears graphite very easily. I've had to redraw entire comics from scratch after smearing (and let's not even mention guide/draw-through lines that won't erase---some just don't for some reason). On white paper such is easy to fix, but no so much on yellow.
Included in the above photo is the original art for 'Fight Song'. The uncolored drawing is the original line art ...but I made mistakes, mostly with caption placements, but also notably with Mubba's arm in the bottom panel---I had drawn it too low and it looked inappropriate (Mubba likes Mimi, but not THAT much lol). I wasn't able to erase everything to satisfaction, so I taped the comic art to my window and traced it onto a new sheet (the color copy), correcting errors as I went (save I forgot to color Tasli's shorts in that aforementioned panel, as noted by
TL;DR: I'm not lazy. My comics are easy to draw, but can be VERY hard to upload (if that makes sense). Digital coloring helps with making the uploads presentable (my art needs all the help it can get), so I'm not sorry for it. I'll color traditionally when I can, but I'll not be doing it every time.

Pencil...
The featured pencil is the 'Lot-O-Spots' from Mallard Pencil Co.
The dots on this pencil are actually embedded into the wood, but not very deep, and also very close together. Hence I don't think the dots were intended to facilitate grip (like Pentech's 'Grip Stix'), but I always like it when a pencil's decor goes deeper than just its paint. :3
I did not draw this comic with the 'Lot-O-Sopts', but I did sign the comic with it. Instead, this comic was drawn via an early 20th-century 'Royal' by Eberhard Faber, because I'm a serious pencil collector who has it like that.

But Nelson gets angry and tells him: I give up, here I leave them for you to decide later! Goodbye!
When Nelson leaves, Gene laughs and he had decided on the blue one from the beginning...he only did it to see the dalmatian angry, since when he's like this, his black spots jump with anger too and he looks funny!

Your art has a charm to it that says Chippy. If you find someone else to draw and/or color your works, then it'll lose all the charm that says "Hey, Chippy made this". And I would be remiss if I didn't quote the famous painter Bob Ross... "There are no mistakes... just happy little accidents." He wanted people to not copy his paintings stroke by stroke, but replicate the piece how they see it, that way the art is from the heart of the person who made it.
You do you and we'll all still love you and your works. Plus, if it means anything, the first person I thought of when I viewed this short was Nelson... even before I read the description. You have a way of representing others. :)

I thought you featured a "dot" pencil a while ago(maybe a year or so) but I don't really want to go back and look so I'll just say maybe and leave it at that. Regardless I like pencils with deeper designs in the wood as well. Makes them look more professional and also helps sometimes with grip. :)
