So ...I'm done with Christian characters for now. Why?
Because we're entering Halloween season, which means monsters and so forth are on the to-draw roster. One-Cent ACO now has enough Christian characters to pray us through them all! :D
...I also want to draw some neutral characters, such as Gadget Boy and the Peanut-Butter Crunch Bird (time will tell whether I actually get to them). ^^
Anyway,
I drew Little David via a 'Zephyr' pencil from Wallace Pencil Co. The card was signed and branded via a 'Try-Rex' pencil from J.R. Moon.
Pencil...
The featured pencil has Psalm 23 printed on it.
The psalm on the pencil is worded thus,
"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul; He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake. Yea, though I walk throug the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever."
I chose this pencil because (the real) David composed Psalm 23. :3
I have a pencil that has a very short telling of the David and Goliath story written on it, but it's only a stub---I cannot read all of the story. :( That said, I have another from the same set, featuring the story of Jonah (and it's unsharpened!), so I may feature it someday (providing the Lord endures me so long).
I'll have to go back and watch those. They seemed cute and educational at the same time which is a feat by itself! :D
They fit the WHOLE story of David and Goliath on ONE PENCIL??! Oh you HAVE to show at LEAST part of that some time!! O.O
Also do you have a separate collection of religious pencils with sayings on them or depictions of biblical events? Maybe around Christmas you could share some of those. :D

*BLINK* That's a Christmas pencil the same way "Die Hard" is a Christmas MOVIE (which is totally IS!)! O.O!! Honestly it looks like it was dipped in both Elf AND HUMAN blood!
I like it! ;D

They are strange and mysterious things that we must treat with awe and respect. They will show us many strange and wonderful places IF we use them wisely.
(bows to the pencil) "I am not worthy, I am not worthy!" O.O -.- :D
You should try to watch "Die Hard" to the end. Also my OTHER favorite Christmas Movie "Lethal Weapon"! :D

What ever happened to cute Christmas movies in stop-motion, or heartwarming tales of family, or dramatic retellings of the Biblical story? XD Those, to me (in my narrow worldview) are Christmas. :3
Indeed. :3 What ever happened to cute Christmas movies in stop-motion, or heartwarming tales of fam
