GENE: "Guys, check it out---it's a creepy Billy Bob head!"
GENE (contemplating mischief): "...it may yet be dangerous"
TASLI: "Leave it to me!"
[Tasli kicks the head, breaking off its tooth]
GENE (impressed): "Huzzah! There goes the tooth!"
TASLI (excited): "It's mine!"
[the two quarrel off-camera for the ownership of the tooth]
GENE: "Is not! Give it, Tasli!"
TASLI: "No! I broke it off, so it's mine!"
GENE: Yeah, but I found the head!"
TASLI: "You can keep the head!"
GENE: "But I need the tooth to put under my pillow!"
MUBBA (to self, amused by the scenario): "Those two are a mess, but they're fun to watch, sometimes!"
Yeah, I put panel 5's captions in the wrong order (Mubba's vs. Gene/Tasli's), but it reads fine the other way, too.
Pencil...
The featured pencil is a Billy Bob's 'Pawtograph' Pencil from Showbiz Pizza Place. I dunno the precise vintage, but it's from sometime before 1993.
Laugh if you will, but this pencil is a real collector's item! XD
