Uh boys, you do know there are several, SEVERAL folk myths about a vengeful spirit tracking down some kid who took bodyparts that didn't belong to them right? The most common are teeth and toes. This is a surefire way to get FNAF in your universe.

There was one more example I was looking for but I couldn't find it. I swear there must be some rule in constructing these things that requires them to be as scary and dilapidated as they can be!

I'll bet that's a collector pencil. It's in outstanding shape too. Any idea what year it's from and do you have any others from various theme parks like it? Also that sounds pretty obscure so I'll bet it's a local park and not a franchise.

As for the Boss cartoon ...it's the same as cartoons made for kids, save for some language and intense visuals: jaded, cynical characters interacting with the caffeinated, kooky sort in stories that (again) one can find anywhere.

Sorry, but I look down on a LOT of modern animation (and yes, I know shows from my era had their own faults of which they were replete ...but bias is a thing). ^^

Showbiz Pizza wasn't a park, it was a restaurant/arcade that had a stage for animatronic shows (in some cases, the 'stage' was just a wall with windows individual characters would appear from).

The survival pencil is probably one of the most fascinating items you've shown so far and yes it IS specifically designed to start fires exactly the way you described it. The wick end would have some flammable material around it or cloth soaked in kerosene to help ignition then once it was lit it would be used to light the actual fire and then be put out and replaced in the bbl of the pencil. As to the little pencil nib the hollow bbl was used to store replacements OF that specific little nib that you would simply take out and pop into the end when the first one was used up. It really wasn't meant to be a pencil, more of a 'secret' survival item that you would SAY was a pencil so as not to arouse suspicion. I'm guessing on that last part but being a pencil wasn't it's primary function. I'd love to find one of those just to have with me on hikes and such. :)

Speaking of weird and odd pencils, do you have any examples of those plastic pencils from a few decades back that were literally a hollow tube with pre sharpened bits of lead (maybe 8 or so) that you would push down the bbl once the nib you were using got too worn to be useful thereby giving you a fresh sharp point? They were one of the oddest ideas for a pencil or any writing / drawing instrument I've ever seen but seem to have died quickly as no one really wanted them.
