Rapid Rabbit is here to answer the question (that no one asks) of what Calamity Coyote would look like as a bunny. ^^
But seriously, special thanks to MaxieTheFox https://www.deviantart.com/maxiethefox2005 for reminding me this character exists ...and likely for reminding my watchers as well---prior to Maxie's January 2021 upload, a Looney-Tunes representation of Rapid Rabbit hadn't been uploaded to DeviantArt since 2010 (insofar as I could tell; navigating DeviantArt is far from intuitive/easy). ^^
Anyway, Rapid Rabbit and his antagonist Quick Brown Fox (who seems to be red in color) appeared in only one cartoon short ('Rabbit Stew and Rabbits, Too'), which may be seen here (link tested 06/23/2021): https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x4xnao4
Rapid is, as described in the video description (quoted below, in case it gets removed), effectively the Road Runner in bunny form (with the fox acting as the coyote). ^^
"One of the very last Looney Tunes cartoons, with characters that are essentially [copies] of Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner, boiling right down to the 'rapid rabbit' making beeping noises via bike horn. The characters were supposedly intended to star in far more shorts, but with Kinney National buying out Warner Bros-Seven Arts, it all came to a close, and that was probably for the better" -Famulator; DailyMotion
Anyway...
The featured pencil is this 'Mirado' model by Eagle. Why the Mirado? Because, supposedly, 'Mirado' is the name of some kind of muscle car ...which is fast ...and beeps ...like Rapid Rabbit (ok, I was desperate here). :P
HYPOTHETICALWATCHER: "Boring; I have one of those pencils"
Um... not this version. If you do, I'd be interested to see what other pencils you have (seriously). ^^
This is a very *early (possible second-edition) version of the Mirado. Now, it's worth saying that the Mirado used to be known as the 'Mikado' prior to WWII, but its name was **changed to 'Mirado' after the bombing of Pearl Harbor.
*based on illustrated, mid-century ads for the Mirado
**The name was changed because 'mikado' means 'an emperor of Japan'.
Concisely, this Mirado pencil is excellent in about every way a pencil can be. The formula did change over time (this one likely has the same graphite-wax composition as the Mikado), and not for the better (yes, i have a range of Mirado pencils; I know what I'm writing about). :(
