Not much to say here, just wanted to draw Tutenstein ...so, I did.
HYPOTHETICALWATCHER: "Tut tut, looks like crap!"
D:
HYPOTHETICALWATCHER: "Sorry; couldn't resist"
All right, let's see you do better.
HYPOTHETICALWATCHER: *draws a perfect rotation of the subject, along with three original poses from two different angles, all perfectly on-model with precise symmetry, all in under 18 minutes*
...Bravo. :P
HYPOTHETICALWATCHER: "It's just a little thing I do"
The 'Tutenstein' cartoon is very good; I've seen most of that which YT has to offer of the series. On a side note, the series is based on a comic book published by Marvel ...and is seemingly hard to find (I saw two on eBay, each was just over $50 USD).
'Tutenstein' used to run on The Discovery Channel, but it is of little educational value---about as much as, say, the original 'Animaniacs'---just enough educational content to appease focus groups.
Summarized, the mummy of Tutankhensetamun was brought to life in a modern-day museum, wherein he meets Cleo the 12-y/o Human, and Luxor the Cat (Cleo gives Tutankhensetamun the nickname Tutenstein). The appeal of the series resides in the antics of Tutenstein and his interactions with his friends ...but it's not all fun and games, as ancient gods and demons are aware of Tutenstein's resurrection ...and not all of them have Tutenstein's best interests in mind! Yeah, I know I used to write better descriptions ...maybe I'll get my mojo back ...or perhaps not. Either way, at least I'm still drawing (which I guess is ok ...I dunno). :p
Anyway, I drew this card with my Zephyr, and delineated it ...not with this Pyramid pencil by Philip-Edwards Co., because I couldn't find where I placed it. So I went over the Zephyr lines with an Eberhard. At the very end, I found my Pyramid pencil hidden in plain sight. I used it to sign, date, and write my usual nonsense on this card (so at least some of the Pyramid made it onto the final product). ^^
Anyway, I made a drawing of Gene with the Pyramid pencil so I could comment on it properly. The Pyramid is fairly standard, insofar as its drag and the consistency of its line. It leans towards dark and has a soft point. It's good; nothing special, but no complaints; has a cool name. :3
I remember this show from my childhood of semi-regularly watching Discovery Kids before it became The Hub! This, along with Kenny the Shark and Time Warp Trio, were my favs on the channel.

I loved watching those Discovery Kids shows on NBC before they stopped showing Saturday morning cartoons altogether. Tutenstein was very funny, even if it had an educational slant to it. My other favorite DK shows were "Time Warp Trio", "Trading Spaces: Kids Edition", "Kenny the Shark", and "The Future is Wild".
