Thought since I've shown the Eagle 'Greenbacks' pencil, I may as well show the Eagle 'Jeans' pencil, too! As implied, this pencil is made from recycled denim ...American Eagle, perhaps? Or maybe Armani? We may never know!
Only thing that's sure is the 'Jeans' pencil is somehow lighter than the 'Greenbacks', made from recycled currency. ^^
This pencil also kinda goes with today's subject: Polluto. :3
Polluto is from 'The Smoggies': an early 1990's animated 'environmental message' series. ...because Polluto wears denim overalls ...and the concept of recycling goes with the series's environmental message (ok, it's a stretch, but one that suffices). :p
Anyway, Polutto is a descendant of a family of coal miners ...and Polutto himself eats coal and drinks oil (because reasons). The little yellow bird that accompanies Polluto is Ralph Robin ...in spite of his color (should be a canary as those birds were used in olden times to test the air quality in coal mines).
Anyway....
In 'The Smoggies' series, there were two groups of characters: the Smoggies (the antagonists), and the Suntots (our heroes).
The Suntots were tiny creatures that, for all the world, look like they were directly inspired by the Troll Dolls.
The main plot of the series was the exploits of the Smoggies in obtaining eternal youth, via some sort of (legendary) magic coral. ...and I suppose their attempts were somehow deleterious to the environment the Suntots were preserving.
I've seen only one episode, so ...I'm as clueless as you (likely) are. ^^
Anyway, I like the the series theme song (strange as it is) ...Enjoy!
