As many of you know, I don't watch contemporary cartoons, at least not for the most part. Concisely, I'm one of about, oh ...19 persons in North America who isn't subscribed to Netflix, Disney Plus or whatever internet streaming service ...I don't even have cable TV. ^^
Effectively everything I watch is viewed via YouTube or DailyMotion, so I'd not seen any episodes of Bluey---I didn't know even to look for them. :p
That said, I'd come across the character a number of times while refreshing DA and FA's recents pages, as well via the profile galleries of some of my watchers. :3
I finally decided to see what Bluey was all about. I went in expecting to see some CG characters ...the show wasn't in CG. I went in expecting the show to be either extremely childish or outright stupid ...it wasn't. ^^ Additionally, I was surprised to see 'Bluey' was produced by some Australian studio, for play on DisneyJunior (not sure what I was expecting there, but it wasn't Disney). :P
I watched only one episode, just to get an idea what 'Bluey' was all about. The episode was 'Keepy Uppy', which may be viewed by clicking below,
'Bluey' ...is fairly well written, for what it is---I got the impression the persons who write this actually know what a child is and may even have raised a few (trust me, I don't get that impression from a good many preschool shows). :P
The story of 'Keepy Uppy' is basically just Bluey playing a game with her younger sister Bingo. The game is to bounce a balloon back and forth to one another without letting it touch the ground ...and it gets intense at times---not because there's any real stakes or consequences, but because of how convincing it was; I genuinely didn't want the balloon to meet the earth! XD :P ^_^
Spoilers: the balloon eventually meets its end when it comes into contact with the grass growing in the back yard ...how or why the grass is sharp enough to pop a balloon is anyone's guess (and a bit of a break in one's suspension of disbelief, considering the pups run barefoot on it), but we all gotta die someday, I guess---one's end doesn't always need to make sense (this is a lesson Bluey taught me ...well, ok, not really---I learned that in harder ways, but still). ^^
Anyway, if my ACO looks familiar, that's because I wanted to draw a specific moment from the 'Keepy Uppy' episode, which may be seen here: https://sta.sh/01uo64g6ukdz
Don't you just feel the tension? Look how focused Bluey is---it's inspiring! D:
Anyway...
I drew this ACO via my Zephyr pencil and delineated it ...NOT with this 'Blue Grass' pencil from Mallard Pencil Co., because my Blue Grass is unsharpened and very hard to find in the wild! D: It also goes well with this card and its reference, because Blue and Grass ...Ok, I'm not as clever as I thought, but whatever! ^_^
Do not mock me, cold chips of great age, for I see all, both good and ill, new and old, 3D and 2D! Hark to my wisdom, lest a pox be visited upon your house!

Cute job :3 I've been kinda curious about this cartoon. At first I wasn't interested in it. But I'll admit it's kinda raised my attention a tiny bit lol

awww so cute, I like how you draw her! I agree, bluey tops all modern/current running children's shows, and the writers did their research. I started collecting the toys of Bluey to decorate a shelf in my room with my Lion King collection. ^^

"From now on, brothers and sisters, if anything is excellent and if anything is admirable, focus your thoughts on these things: all that is true, all that is holy, all that is just, all that is pure, all that is lovely, and all that is worthy of praise" -Phil 4:8
There IS some good to be found in Disney media---there's a reason they're as big as they are (they've misused their power, yes, but they'll pay for that eventually).
It's not so much 'Disney' I care about inasmuch as the contributions they've made to the art/animation world.
I'm Christian, so I try to focus on the good, "From now on, brothers and sisters, if anything is ex
I see. I’m an atheist. I hope you can accept me for who I am, because I’ve seen Christians who hate non-Christians because of biases from a century ago.
I kinda agree.

I don't hate you---you're a person, same as me (and per my beliefs: a being made in God's image).
Mine is a live-and-let-live perception, so long as one doesn't harm themselves and/or others (beyond that which is acceptable by society); you do you; believe as you will.
I don't 'accept' atheism, but it's just a worldview---it's not something I'm expected to accept. It's people I'm called to care about---to 'love' in a Christian sense. :3 That said, I'm an unsocial person---I don't say much (generally) and when I do, I tend to be concise/to the point.
