I like the idea, and their expressions/body language are priceless! While I have no need of something like this, I think first time con attendees would greatly benefit!

I was thinking it'd be a temporary representation of whatever 'sona they choose. I was going to print off like 50 of each and get a couple boxes of crayons and just setup in the lobby or something. Let folks have at them.

That is exactly what I was thinking you were planning!

Suggestion, ink them nice and thick, coloring book style! Maybe you could start an art trend and other artists might follow suit! I could totally see donating a stack of these to a convention - or maybe see if the convention itself would fund artists to do them.

Heck, if conventions would be willing to pay for something like that, I'd happily give them the rights to print copies as needed. Just a thought.

LOL! my first furcon was in LA in 2000 but considered myself a furry since finding this crazy fandom back in 97' Man, I remembered you really had to keep that stuff on the very down low. I dared to wear my fursuit My Al Bear that I've owned since 2002 https://inkbunny.net/s/669274 at a company event back in 03' and everybody loved it! I posed for many pics with co worker's kids.

A few days later the IT guy asked me about yipping, (what do you mean I said) and if I yipped in my bear suit. I believe he meant yiffing. I turned somewhat red. He then mentioned the infamous CSI TV show episode that came out just a few days before. Man, this is when I turned tomato red and had to defend the furry fandom saying that the TV portrayal was just TV sensationalism. The guy just smirked, I then kept going on the low down. But yeah! Man, being a furry back then was so freakish. Now it's mainstream. The kids today don't know how good they have it. 🐻😂🐻

The variety of species seems like a good idea. Maybe also include some poses with a more positive, enthusiastic - I'm a furry now, yay!! ^.^ - kinda vibe!

Rabbits and other lagomorphs. And fat critters! Like a chunky pupper! I think this idea is cute and it's really cool of you to give them away. Alternatively you could try and find a bulk supplier of crayons and sell the crayons +a sheet or two for a buck to cover costs :P. Maybe keep a big box of multiple colors near your station for more variety?

Thanks. :) It's basically printing out blank 'bases' that are free to use. I'm surprised artists don't do things like this at cons. How cool would it be if an artist had blank bases for sale at a con for, like, $.50 each? I bet they'd make a fair turnaround, especially if they offered coloring for an additional charge! :D

No, thought of that, but there's no real reason and IIRC we'd have to maintain a connection, which would be another thing to do. But we do allow Tor access unlike some sites, unless there is a particular reason to block specific exit nodes.

Upon further reflection, it might do to have at least one positive and maybe one negative or questioning quote for each species type. I don't have a problem with the way you did it, just at first glance looked as though the canines were a bit on the negative side... :)

Well, my ORIGINAL plan was to play up the whole, "Oh no!" meme about becoming a furry. ("I'm a furry? Now I have to fuck my dog!") But folks said there needed to be some positive ones, too...

great set of sticker ideas you will need a Skunk type, Raccoon type, Feline, canine & Hydrogyn type -uh that would be Vulpines (as foxs are the "Hydrogyn" of any furry universe) Lapines, Rudder-butts, Ursines, rodent type, and equines should cover about 80% a few reptiles and avians to round things out. call it your "Darwin's Anthropomorphic Grab-Bag."

I did a short story about a guy who went to a"weekend workshop" it get in touch with his "totum animal spirit"
has a powerful vision and wakes up monday morning transformed into an anthropomorphic version of it. he calls up the psudo shaman who did an intensive 5 day class to become a 'real' "shamean" who freaks out when she sees his new form mothing prepaired her for something like this in the Email corospondemnce course perhaps she needs to contact the "elders shamin tribe LLC" to seek their wisdom. yeah it was my take on these weekend courses thay were having back in the day so tht for only $250 or more you could attend a weekend workshop and learn a bunch of mumbo jumbo and call yourself a "native american shaman" and it was pure BS.
fun story i may post it some day it was an interesting look at how a person would adapt to living as an anthropomorphic "furry" in the modern world.
