#17: Krookodile

First off, to anyone who doesn't get the reference here I apologize but... Mandatory One Piece reference is mandatory. I realize it's on the esoteric side but c'mon! It's a sand based evil crocodile! How can I, as a self respecting One Piece fan NOT make the connection to Sir Crocodile? Hell, my Krookodile is even named Mr. 0 in homage to that!

Well, all fanboyism aside, Krookodile is a Pokemon I really genuinely alike, no strings attached to One Piece (that's just kind of incidental) my only issue with Krookodile is it does have some design flaws in my opinion that keep it from looking great. First off, I prefer Krokorok's folded arm pose. It's minor and nitpicky but I wish Krookodile had the same, but most damning about this one's design are it's eyes. Those beady little eyes stuffed into the sunglasses-like mask just looks idiotic. It makes something that could have a cool, rebellious look into something stupid looking. To me, if he eyes had just been a pair of Kamina-esque shades it would have been so much better... so I did just that, along with taking other liberties of course. Those are mostly just nitpicks though, in the end I really like Krookodile, it's pretty damn good and is one I use often in my Dark-teams... and yeah again, unintentional connections to One Piece DO help this biased love!
