Character Description
Personality
Boastful, very strong, aggressive, violent, quick-tempered and having little regard for other people's feelings she's not the kind of person you'd like to argue with. She only likes those that can talk or act tough and can hold their own in a fight. She loves to show off her strength by besting people in wrestling matches and loves to ferociously devour marrows. She like many Linders has turned cannibalism into an art form using human bones as decorations and knows many dishes she can make from human flesh like skin soup and eyeball pudding, a Linder's favorite dishes. She can make delicious pastries from bones and other than her culinary expertise her main interest is seducing men. Very crude and vulgar, many people refuse to believe she's even a woman, especially she tends to talk in grunts most of the time. She has a fear of cows who are drawn to trying to eat her, a Linder trait. She's also an avid botanist and mixer of herbal remedies so smells strongly of lavender and peanuts.
Likes/Dislikes
likes farming, baking, cooking and mixing medicine, dislikes most everybody, especially humans and has a paranoid fear of cows who are in fact a threat to her life.
Background/History
Erika grew up as a Dewarren in Dukeslanding, just to the south of Neoursheir. However one day she was bathing in the river and a sudden rainstorm caused the river to swell and she was washed downstream in the fast moving current and drowned. Since she didn't have a proper burial she was cursed to become a Linder, a sort of cannibalistic Dewarren zombie. Ashamed and afraid to show her face to her family she set sail to Jagi where she lived alongside the main river in a prospering Linder colony. However an invasion of Harpy wielding farmers who sought to steal the Linder's farmland pushed them out and Erika was forced to sail to Hornwater, an ideal place for strong sailors like herself. There she encountered George who hired her as an avid sailor and excellent cook for his ship. They later set sail for Neoursheir with Erika hoping she could use the opportunity to enter the fairy realm to settle there among freaks like herself. However her reception on arrival was not very welcome, mostly down to Erika's own inappropriate behavior.
Relatives/Family
Erika came over on the ship with George. Her Dewarren family however live just south of Neoursheir in Dukeslanding. She longs to see them again but being a man-eating member of the undead she fears they won't accept her.
World/Setting
set in a fictional world much like medieval Europe, there are various mythological creatures around including fairies and undead as well as humans. Humans tend to live with their own kind and only interfere with fairy kind when they want something. Fairies however tend to visit the human world uninvited though most don't cause any trouble unless provoked. Undead however are little troublemakers and disliked by both sides as they are a pest to everyone. In the land of Neoursheir, humans and fairies have lived quite happily alongside each other by keeping to their own kind, however the introduction of undead to the area has caused a stir, especially as they aren't interested in keeping out of other people's business.
Body
pale redish skin and shocking red hair with bright green eyes. skin is stained green around the face, hands and feet for camouflage and hair is knotted and thickly caked with mud.
Clothing
wears a suit of armor made from wicker that's coated in earth. the fine hide undergarments are stitched into the armor so that it doubles as clothing. This makes it easier to dress into quickly from sleeping naked.
Accessories
carries a large round shield made of wicker that's covered in earth and decorated with various marsh plants, in particular dutch clover.
