Character Sheet for Daulphin Bonapart
Greedy and selfish, they may be rich but they hate to see their money go. However they are an avid gambler and you better let them win because otherwise Dahl will turn extremely violent. Halflings are said to be able to breed with any creature and Dahl will certainly try their luck with anyone but they can be aggressively flirtatious and very off-putting. Rather lazy in most respects they do however like to show off their tactical smarts and understanding of human nature. Often not understanding personal space and boundaries and being rather sly and cunning they tend to rub people the wrong way. However they are a fountain of useful advice if you know you can trust them. Despite her backstabbing nature she longs to make friends and is very protective of the few undead friends she has. Wronging those people will put you at odds with Dahl and that is something best avoided. She may not be the leader of the undead in Northshire but she sure acts like it.
likes money, flirting, her friends, gambling and power, dislikes losing, especially where money is concerned, her affections not being returned, people picking on the undead and being disrespected.
Dahl was the descendant of a family that was kept as slaves in Bret. When she showed amazing skills in military tactics she became the favorite of the king and was lavishly spoiled with riches. However Dahl mistook this show of appreciation as the king having romantic feelings towards her and overstepped her rank showing feeling way too familiar. The king had Dahl killed for her assumed attempt to seduce him. However following her death Dahl's manor was protected by Dahl's ghost where she guarded her wealth from bandits, intruders, Dahl's descendants and even the king's own men. However when the king's descendant hired one of Bonapart's descendants Napoleon as his military adviser the new Bonapart had the house burned to the ground freeing Dahl's spirit. However the riches belonging to Dahl which Napoleon hoped to take as his inheritance had vanished along with Dahl and her suit of armor. Dahl wandered to Hornwater to live with her people's allies from when she was living. There she met George and agreed to join his crew and sail to Neoursheir. There she hoped to settle and start an army of servants though other than her cook and housekeeper which she brought from Bret has been unable to do so.
Dahl's ancestors were slaves in Bret and some of their descendants still live there. Also Dahl's descendants are aristocracy there.
set in a fictional world much like medieval Europe, there are various mythological creatures around including fairies and undead as well as humans. Humans tend to live with their own kind and only interfere with fairy kind when they want something. Fairies however tend to visit the human world uninvited though most don't cause any trouble unless provoked. Undead however are little troublemakers and disliked by both sides as they are a pest to everyone. In the land of Neoursheir, humans and fairies have lived quite happily alongside each other by keeping to their own kind, however the introduction of undead to the area has caused a stir, especially as they aren't interested in keeping out of other people's business.
