called, letting me know that he's getting sent to hospice, the cancer has spread from the colon to the liver and pancreas and spreading through his body.
His doctor's don't know how long he has before he is gone.
called me this morning scared and all over the place, talking about Jan 13, Lincoln's assassination, the crap that is going on right now and that the keyboard for his tablet is too small to use properly. He hung up after a nurse came into his room to check up on him.
So far, he hasn't called back, been trying to get in touch with him to no avail.
All I can say is if any god, demon or whatever showed up right now and if that if I could, I'd give my life to save his. No questions asked, no other favors needed.
I'm convinced cancer is without a doubt among the most evil ailments any of us could possibly be smitten with. After loosing my Dad, two of my siblings and a friend of the family to cancer, I've at times felt like cancer was something hatched from the pits of Hell by the Devil himself.
Some years ago, I had once said about cancer, if I had to make a choice of dieing either one of two ways... #1. Dieing of cancer... #2. A thunderstorm coming up while I was working on an outdoors project. And while I was still outside busy gathering up tools and cords to put them away before the storm hits, I get struck by a bolt of lightning... I'd choose the lightning strike instead of the cancer paws down.
Sorry to hear. **😿** Hugs. I'm convinced cancer is without a doubt among the most evil ailments
Just a thought passing by. Have you screened yourself for cancer? Since it can have a genetic component to it as well and you might nip it very early in the butt.
