Than id' recommend Scaredy Squirrel, Disney's Bonkers, Rocket Monkeys, Yin Yang Yo, Squirrel Boy if you happen to find it, The looney tunes show, Teen titans go, The amazing world of gumball i'd advice to watch that only from late most recent series. Also for non animated tv shows i can recommend The It Crowd every episode is funny and one very interesting episode from CSI called fur and loathing :D

It's actually kinda fun, it doesn't have too much of that childish humor or overused cliche jokes. The problem is that it's hard to find in english, just like Kaiketsu zorori in full english dub or that French tv show Rekkit Rabbit. Btw the tv show looks nothing like kids books, i think it's improved.
