It's... taking your mask of for someone really is one of the strongest signs of wanting to show someone that you really mean it. It's cute that she did so to emphasize what she's talking about (doesn't help that she's a cutie underneath the mask)

It's hard to put down our masks that we spent crafting for so long, to make ourselves so open to others, letting them see what we really look like underneath~

This was so me for the longest time.  I used to have such a massive ego about my own art because I got so used to everyone telling me that my artwork was always wonderful.  Then, a friend of mine told me, after I try to get his opinion on a picture I was drawing; he liked it, but I got sarcastic and said, "No, you don't, you hate it", and then my friend told me that I shouldn't let my talent go to my head because there will be people that honestly don't like my work.  I got super humble at that point, and I think I'm still that way to a degree.
