I think Derpy Hooves/ Ditzy Doo might actually be my favorite pony, despite her only talking once I know of and not being a mane character. Heck, even her name isn't really revealed yet, only joked about and speculated on.
Before anyone brings it up, I'm well aware that being a mail carrier isn't really a part of her official character, but I love the idea of her having to be padded while she flies across the whole town delivering mail... probably because of complaints of "falling objects" (and not anvils this time). I seriously considered drawing her non-derped since she appears that way multiple times, but I figure I may as well draw her the way everyone draws fanart of her.
The sketch for this one started out really bad (no, I won't show it, it's just THAT bad) but I spent an hour or so fixing it up until I was very happy with it. The coloring and inking took very little time surprisingly, only about an hour and then 15 minutes of touch-up. I even tried to do the clouds like how they look in the show, but I think I only was partially successful.
So, rambling aside, I hope everyone enjoys this, because I'm pretty darn proud of it.
