There was a point during the development of the first book of Partners where I described Carrie as being very busty, but drew her at like a C cup. This was partially one of my 'relearning to draw breasts' phases that I go through every so often, where I start small and get bigger as I figure out shapes. But another reason for this was that I was way, way too hung up on the idea of people not 'taking it seriously' because the characters looked a certain way.
Needless to say, I am all the way over that now. It's a serious story with a gene-spliced cast of characters who are all fantastical in one way or another and it is sex-positive, period. So it was about time I drew Carrie in her favorite outfit at the proper proportions.
The fluctuating sizes of all the proportions have, until now, always been a mystery! I'd say Carrie's definitely gone through a noticeable transition, but...
I'd be lying if I said it was just her. All of them have... except maybe Jacent and Sam.
