Of course I ran. How can you win against someone who made the rules? And the game. And the players... -Kelvalde
Dictator to the stars, and the main antagonist of Partners. Less a creature than an unknowable cosmic entity, her thirst for the energy of new hosts is outstripped only by her lust for power. To oppose her is worse than death, for she controls all life. No sympathy is given to the creatures that she subjugates, for they're merely food. No empathy is held for her fellow Inked, for they are merely extensions of herself, to be used as one uses a limb. And if they serve her imperfectly, they are to be devoured, and spit out into something more useful.
She is a nightmare made flesh, and that flesh is the color of blood and darkness. She is Osoth.
On the positive side, Osoth won't ever need new hosts again and will get a villainous rack to go with her evil hips. On the negative, now you've got two galaxy-sized egos in one person.

I like that the nebulae behind her are so simple yet still have so much texture and value and movement. It's like I can see them folding and bending. good stuff.

Ooooo she certainly looks like a cool entity, ala final boss in an RPG like scenario. For crossover ridiculousness I would so have my Fade, the being who acts as the bridge between life and death meet up and battle one another. Pure Spiritual Energy VS Cosmic Energy! n_n

Haha~ Beautiful! I love it, and not just because Lorna makes that demoness look good! Honestly though, I've thought about it plenty and all that doom-say makes her sound more impressive than she may actually be. Her dominance of countless civilizations had to have started out as less of a staggering force and more of a cunning use of manipulation to suit her means.
Eventually she snowballed into a truly fearsome force, and dominated as many organics as she did Inklings without a doubt; but she seemed to crumble under her own weight. It took some doing, yes - a lot of doing - but all Echelon had to do was remove the soup can at the lowest corner of her pyramid and it all came tumbling down (a metaphor I am ever-wont to use).
She is a prime example of the old notion: those who live by the sword will die by it.
Someone as awesome-sounding as her sounds like a dictator who never makes mistakes. But I get the impression that she's made plenty.

Her mistake was in how she played. She had some nerve letting Echelon rebel against her because she was bored. It's exactly because Natalie and the others came along, and for some reason she never entertained the idea that such a thing could happen.
Hubris at its finest.

Vaguely reminds me of Red Eyes (probably the color/gooeyness, but then Red is made out of tar and this lass is Ink so that's a given.)
So she's the Partners' World equivalent of Azathoth, huh? An all-mighty idiot? Or is she more Galactus? One for who consumption is not just a necessity to live, but it is a purpose in of itself?

Man I really need to finish my Partners fanart comic. I tried to draw the entire final fight scene against Osoth. I've got bare story boards and a few attempts at lines but that's it, just don't have the time, and when I do find time I lose the motivation.

That's the way big projects are, they daunt you with their largesse. It's only through pushing through our boundaries that we truly accomplish new things!
