Catty-corner to Osterio Vantage was a shop of curiosities called 'Old World Charms.' Jacent stood in front of it, hand on the glass, staring at a slightly damaged and age-withered Cabbage Patch doll. Memories flooded him. He'd remembered a child clutching one during an attack by Sabotaj. A row of them on the shelves of a store that threatened to collapse thanks to the efforts of Tunnel Vision. Even a moment touching one that had been discarded by a girl that decided she was too old for them. Did people now even realize what it was supposed to be?
