Héhé really nice Atlas ... this picture remind me of a film of Sergio Leonese ... ''The Good, the Bad and the Ugly'' ...  I know that Gobo doesn't deserve the title of bad or ugly ... maybe Ronno but I personally think that Ronno parent might be a li'l responsible for his personality *smile* ... Nevertheless really nice picture ... could make a reference sheet

Jaja, nice pointview, well Ronno is ugly definitly, Gobo passed by bad things and Bambi since is the main character is the good. x3

The effect definitely shows. They look like they are made from rubber or latex.
Do you like how your new effects look? =) Because I do!

If It would not liked me, I think I will stay in my old style. =P

Is a test, I like how looks but definitly lost 100% the idea of "fur"... well that lost it long ago in my gallery. x3 I need be careful, sometimes looks pretty exagerated.

Hmm, maybe you could try and add the highlights to only the points where light will hit the strongest. That way there aren't too many, and you will still achieve the effect. Still looks nice, though. =3

You are right, however... That is my problem, rarely I considerate add or focus a point of light reflection-direction, most of the time I only do add the light effects where it´s suppose looks good, I don´t like the shadows take most of the body of the character (except if the background make an ambient different than my pictures in harmony and happiness). But I´d try to make something different.

is it just me or isn't Gobo in the movie?
Atlasfield

He is not in the movie, only in the book. Gobo is brother of Faline, he died in hands of a hunter.

Yes, another example is the case of Thumper and Flower, both only appear in the movie.

they don't appear in the book? then how does the story go?

The experiences of Bambi and tales are mostly with Faline, Gobo, his mother and the hunter, or in the lonely, sometimes with his father and other characters give some experiences like Karus and Ronno. In fact, is different, some details from the movie are similar (but not the same) as the book, example when Bambi´s mother died or the fight of Bambi and Ronno.

so the books only contain dears as characters?
Atlasfield

Mostly, but appear an owl, a hare, a squirrel, birds and the dogs too, but the book is more focus on the roe deers (Yeah, are not white tail deers as Disney, surprise =P) and the writer does complex descriptions of the landscape and other nice details.

Is very different, if you one day have the oportunity of buy it or download in pdf file or something like, read it, I recomend it. :)
