At the start of the Guild Sect, Denzel Tournesol didn't know what he wanted to advance in, he didn't do well at sword play, nor did he have a knack for crafting so places like the Squireguard or Coggsworks didn't play to his strengths, he thought about joining Shadowblade as he had good sneaking skills but one instructor suggested he try out the Spellcrafters as he had a Cosmic Vibrant 'Æther' that shined like an Amethyst stone which at the time Denzel didn't understand what his teacher was talking about but gave the idea some thought. The description for the Sepllcrafters was quite vague, "unlocking a hidden power within and developing your elemental masterpieces with expressive iteration", seamed a bit far fetched though in the past month or so, Denzels eyes had bean to see some things that he couldn't explain or things that didn't seam quite 'natural' then the comment by his teacher just put things over the top so he decided to give the Spellcrafters a try as he had some time to make a change if he needed to. During the orientation, the basic concepts of Psynergy, the hidden power of the world were explained and at first it seamed unreal as most, if not all the new students attending the session couldn't see what any of the presenters were casting but they were told in time they would be able to and would also be able to develop spells of their own. But Denzel could see, though not quite fully yet, he saw a hint of sparks or a flame from some basic elemental play as the professors were taking a gander to see the levels of their 'Ætheral Eye', then once he started his classes, Denzel quickly developed the talent for Psynergy, becoming one of the fastest from starting at zero knowledge to being even to cast intermarry spells during his first year at the Spellcrafters, earning a title of prodigy, the first one the Spellcrafters had in over a decade as he became well known throughout the Guild School Campus by the end of the first semester, ranking even higher then some of those above his grade. Going on the path of a Magus Noir, Denzel continued to develop at a rapid pace during his second semester ending out his first year way on top of his class, though once his second year started, his status was vastly tested by a newcomer, someone a year younger starting out their Guild Sect though advancing straight to the second year.....
