A week into the new year of the Guild Sect, the Spellcrafters had another interesting member join their ranks, Skye Azure, known by his official name of Ion-Yggdrasil became the first of the Yggdrasil's main line to take their Guild Sect through the Spellcrafters after he dropped out of the Yggdrasil's usual Squireguard and changed course. With previous knowledge of Psynergy and ample talent already developed in his element through his own means, Ion was placed directly in second year, with taking the path of a Magus Noir though with a twist as the Noir Sage Fenrir wanted Ion to continue to apply his natural sword skills while continuing to develop his talents in Psynergy. Ion's talent quickly showed through, his Icey cold Azure Æther was something that garnered a lot of attention as no one else, at least at the time had a property element that was attached to developed into their Æther, giving Ion a uniqueness and talent advantage in contrast to the other interesting student in their year while being a year younger then the rest of his peers. Ion was the first one of their year to put his skills on par with the class's prodigy Denzel, a title that didn't take Ion long to gain as well, earning it during his first week in the Guild Sect, making Ion the fastest to achieve such a ranking and with that for the first time in centuries, the Spellcrafters Guild Sect had two prodigy level students attending at the same time and in the same class grade no less, one of the rare time you could count on one hand that the stars aligned in this way. The rivalry between the two was almost instant, as the two fought for the top of their class, each taking defeats and victories against one another. Denzel though found a place he was significantly better then Ion at as his skills in pure casting were still unmatched combined with his element being the one that Ion's is weaker against, so in that regard he was on a pedestal that Ion could never reach, but Ion's ability to combine staff and sword combining with is vastly superior pool of Æther which could overload into a 'leaked' state put him on a different pedestal, one that Denzel could never reach, one that was equal to the one Denzel stood upon, for the next half decade the Spellcrafter Guld Sect was about to get interesting.....
