Originally I was going to do a two part series showing normal Ion in his updated Black Magus garb with second image showing him in another plane of existence (which I am calling the Edge of Eternity Plane or EoE for shot) where he transferred his skills into the White Magus side of the Spellcrafters. But when I started fully developing Denzel and his abilities, the Amethyst Æther ended up begin the perfect colour for him so I repurposed the alternate background and such for White Magus Ion into Denzel's debut artwork (though mirrored as I designed it to be a face off between Ion and Denzel, I am going to make a proper faceoff background for them but it is taking some time as I am adjusting the faces to a new design among some other things). I still wanted to show this design as it is one of the canonical planes of existance and the main Ion down the road has had interaction with this plane, shown in the image Amethyst of Azure (Surgery/Gore Warning).
~ In another time, another plane of existence, another edge of eternity, the sage of the Magus de Blanc Sylph took an interest in Ion after the conclusion of the first magus duel between the two new prodigies, feeling that his Æther would fit much better within her class of Magus then that of the Noir Sage Fenrir's. While in most eternities any persuasion failed to make the gifted boy cross over, there was one where the hand of the offer was grasped. Trading in the black and gold hemmed school robes for those adorned in white, Ion follow upon a new path within the Spellcrafters, now being watched over that that abundant Blanc Sage Sylph, mentoring his abilities so one day he could inherit her hidden art, a very powerful and rare ability among the Magus de Blancs. In doing so, Ion's Æther had began to change, gone was his Cosmic Cold Azure hue that was much true to most of his family line and with it now sprang forth one of Cosmic Purple Amethyst, annoying another much greatly, igniting an even deeper rivalry with the protege of the Magus de Noir as their Auras now matched each other's. And this rivalry was now about to begin it's new chapter as each took a side opposite of one another, now standing forth at the precipice of their second magus duel, a year older and of opposing classes, the two Ithereal Magus of Cosmic Amethyst, one of the Noir and the other of the Blanc, square off as their heated rivalry took on a new shape and meaning, as a battle between the magus classes had begun, the top two prodigies of each leading their charge..... ~
