I think the process of creating her is what makes it so interesting. To put 2 separate ideas together that never have been before it definitely creates a need to decode and understand what this creature might be. I've never seen a character design like this. I really appreciate her new design, it has so many nice shapes that emulate her tentacle like quality. The pose of her hands also tell much more about her status and purpose. Very cool to see redesign after 10 years!
