Maudi Calhoun was one of the first batch of kids experimented on by the Arbiter, deep beneath the bowels of Zabokar. When Murana enabled the sting to disrupt the entire operation, she fled into the undercity with everyone else that escaped. She eventually made her way west towards Balkar, learning to fend for herself. She learned that nobody was going to give her anything and she needed to take charge and exploit opportunities where she saw them. This turned her to mercenary work. With her ability to generate shields of blinding light that could both defend and slice things (and people) up with their malevolent energies, she was ideal for certain types of dangerous jobs. She grew bold and confident over the years and suffered no male to get the better of her.
Enter Trevor Novak. He was former military turned cop turned mercenary himself. He was off to his retirement from (ironically enough) the money given by the Arbiter for the delivery of Taylor Renee Wolford. He stumbled across Maudi and was immediately smitten. She would not be wooed easily and cared little for his bravado and machismo. She saw right through him, knowing he needed a strong female to be his equal. Over time working together, the relationship turned to one of intimacy. She loved this smaller wolf who adored every inch of her voluptuous body. He indulged her secret kinks and loved playing with her trunk, something she found alluring.
