Once the wars settled down and her family and friends came out on top, Nina was treated to a life of luxury once more. She had briefly tasted the fear, loss, pain and grim reality outside the protective walls of her Talkar home, but with her newfound importance in the emerging political climate, she was ushered back into those guardian barriers to grow up in a world of safety and security. She longed for nothing as those who were her caretakers made sure she was schooled and trained up to understand and know her new place in the world. Even as a full adult wolf, burdened with the weight of her position and duties placed upon her shoulders, she would sometimes retreat back to her old bedroom that she had requested specifically to be left alone. Returning to her old room, lounging across a bed far smaller than she had grown, she relished the time she could escape from the world and relive an older, safer, more carefree moment in her life. It was a place of warm memories and contentment.
