She just told him to go outside. I guess he took it wrong and understood that he shall leave forever. She has to think of what just happened. Both have several eggs together and one of them well hidden with them. Did they forget that a birthday-party for this dragon should be handled VERY carefully? Very decent. Cake. Music. dancing and even how much it hurts, not so many presents in such a short time. Lets see how it will continue with that nice storyline.

He is getting what he deserves. I am not saying the mares are also not to blame, Twilight should be furious with them as well, but still. If this is all that happens to Spike then he is getting off so unfathomably easy. He and Twilight profess love to each other, and have children. That was a very definitive emotional statement there, but apparently he didn't care for her at all because he indulged in degenerate acts of lust with every mare he could encounter. Now trying to place all the blame on his dragon instincts? That is low. He already had his lesson on not letting them run rampant. Just because he is a dragon he should be allowed to do anything excusable by this vague instinct. Not only has Spike not gotten his comeuppance, now he is going to play the sympathy card by trying to run away. Hell he didn't even try to apologize to Twilight or beg forgiveness or anything. I really hope this is not heading where it seems to be.

Apologizing or asking for forgiveness should be the last thing someone who is truly sorry would be doing. Such things are normally hollow and empty. You can easily say you're sorry or easily ask for forgiveness. He is accepting what is happening. He is, from what it looks like, is assuming the bag on a stick is a sign that Twilight wants him to leave and not come back. If that is the case and he is accepting, then that shows he truly does regret what he has done. If he didn't, then like I said at the start of this post, he'd be apologizing or begging for forgiveness.

That I can agree with. Honestly I expected that when he was finally caught that he would break down into devastated tears and be honestly sorrowful. Here he is barely taking this with the serious level it demands. The way he doesn't even tear up until he is running away, him just standing by the window with an awkward look and rubbing his arm, Spike is acting more like he made a mess and forgot to clean it up.

That third panel was all the proof I needed to realize Spike's in trouble. While Fluttershy appeared to have a sad, sorrowful expression, Twilight's was more towards confused and hurtful.
After Spike's explanation, Twilight didn't waist anytime send him out the door. I can only hope that this action is temporary, in the meantime, I'm looking forward to see where Spike goes from here.

It's so sad they all are mad at Spike for his recent behavior, yet they over indulge him on his b-day and still no pony knows anything really about dragons beyond Spike and how Twilight is raising him. They should be blaming themselves for this.

I didn't side with Rachel when she blamed Ross for not knowing what she meant by a break. Now Spike is going to head for the Dragon kingdom, and probably get grabbed up by one of the Mane 6's enemies before he gets there. Marriage is a ritual, and in a world where magic works, it probably keeps them from acting like wild animals once or twice a year.

I love this comic and made an account on here just so I could read it. I hope everything works out for Spike. I don't really feel it's fair for him to be judged harshly for what he did since he is a dragon. Everyone who dismisses his dragon nature too easily needs to realize that it isn't just an excuse like "boys will be boys," but something biologically ingrained in him to the point it drastically effects him physically, causing him to grow rapidly. I can only imagine what kind of hormones and other bio chemicals are surging through his brain as his cell structure is instantaneously mutated. Not to mention he wasn't raised in a dragon society so he has no way to understand his own physiology.

not really much of a spoiler when everyone knows how it's going to end, there's 4 possible endings to this 1. happy ending, twilight forgives spike and they live happily ever after 2. sad ending, twilight doesn't forgive spike and he ends up living alone or possible with pinkie 3. cop out ending, everything after spike passed out, was a dream. which mean everything after he passed was pointless 4. no ending, the comic gets canceled before it ends, due to, the artist not wanting to finish it or some kind of lawsuit from hasbro
